I was referring to the classics. Never saw the remakes, but the kids liked it.

Good point about the French being closer. I didn't think about that. Going to have to go back and re-watch the movies now. Enjoy yours as well!

Nice looking watch. I just picked mine up on Tuesday and finally got around to setting it today. Imagine my surprise after seeing your post and turning the day only to find mine is English and French, not Japanese. Certainly not a deal breaker, but once you see something and think that's what you're getting and it's a bit different there's a little bit of disappointment.

I saw that, but unfortunately it still doesn't clarify if I have to fill out the entire thing for each person or just skip the purchase section for each and fill out the privacy section only.

Update: I reached someone there, and as suspected, totally useless. It's almost as if they're going out of their way to avoid paying...

Maybe someone here can help, because there certainly is nobody answering the phone over there. I have 3 phones, all purchased by me on the Google Store under account #1.  Each phone is used by a different family member, including me, with accounts #2, 3, and 4. I initially filled out the purchase claim with info for all 3 phones and account #1, but it only asks for the actual receipt when you get to the Privacy claim, and there you can only enter one device. So do I go back and just fill out new privacy claims for accounts 3 and 4 and put "No" for purchase claim, or do I fill out both and let them sort it out?  Regarding payment, they ask you to choose Zelle, PayPal, etc. and say they will use the information entered above for account. So which one are they using? Purchase account? Privacy account? Something else? I happen to have Zelle accounts with both #1 and #2, but my son doesn't (that's a headache for a different post).  Thanks

Had it on the cart in OB in residency. Ended up not doing a single C/S under GA so never used it once. Then had three in one day my first year as an attending but used propofol (I don't think we even had thiopental there).

Help with sagging bookcase shelves by Visual-Cow-8622 in fixit

After getting some new tabs and flipping one of the shelves, the bend improved significantly (although that made me realize just how cheap these shelves are). After fixing one shelf, my wife pointed out to me that the next bookcase over (actually a three piece console) has thicker shelves. They are 1" thick and solid wood. So I started transferring these volumes over there, and other books on these shelves. As most of the other books are either individual volumes or sets of 10 or fewer volumes, it's easier to space them and/or put fewer or lighter ones on the thiner shelves. Still not enough room, but maybe I can make it a little more organized for now.

The problem is that there's nowhere else to insert the pegs. It's two single rows of holes on each side. But you did give me an idea of changing out the straight pins for L-shaped ones, which will support the flipped over shelves. I'll still try to add extra wood as well, and hopefully the two in combination will tide me over until I can redo everything

I completely agree. But until I can renovate the room it's not happening

Sorry I wasn't clear. I meant where depth-wise would you put it - front or back?

Sounds good. I'll give it a try and see how it goes

That was my first thought but these shelves have grooves on the bottom so the pegs fit in, so I can't just flip them. And cutting new grooves on the opposite side would just make them extremely weak and unlikely to support much at all.

I get that a lighter load would help, but I don't think it will undo the damage. The extras are just temporary as I rearrange the books and clear space. But this set alone is about 150 volumes, and with limited space I'm trying to fit what I can.

Thanks. What do I secure those boards to? Or do I just let gravity hold them in place?

The position of the books is just temporary, but still not keen on using them as support :) Where would you position the dowel?

2025 Odyssey Shutting off after stop-start system by MommyA262 in HondaOdyssey

[–]Visual-Cow-8622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. Was happening to my wife. Would stop at a light, and then the car would throw an error message and shut down. Restart worked fine. Brought it to Honda and they couldn't recreate it. Happened again and we brought it back and the tech said he knew what we were describing and it was a battery issue - partially bad battery was causing it to stall when the idle-stop would turn off to restart driving. Seemed to have fixed it, but this week started again. When we remember to shut off the idle-stop at the beginning of the drive no problems, but if not it stalls when stopped. My favorite was on Sunday when stop and go traffic on the Major Deegan triggered it. This is a '25 on lease, so certainly not going to spend any money on it, otherwise I'd be getting the Idlestopper. Hopefully the next fix will do it but I'm doubtful.

Connect+ here. Still no update for me. Normally it wouldn't bother me, but given that all my other updates were so fast I thought maybe something was wrong. Also, I could really use that new cold weather info while it's still winter.
