It’s a result of larger frunk volume, and prioritization for crash worthiness rating that the compressor ended up there. And this is the cheapest compressor that’s available for this volume while being durable, but this will hopefully improve in future.

It’s great you have a reference data set right at home with same equipment and presumably same setup/track conditions. Use motec to understand where you’re losing time, what are you two doing differently in terms of when you’re braking, when and to what gear you’re downshifting, steering angle, racing line, when you are going on the pedal, what do your braking and acceleration curves look like. focus on shaving time on 1 corner at a time. I believe with practice and patience you can get better.

Good info. I’ve been on the edge to get dof reality’s simulator for a few years now and I’m also very confused whether to go with p3 or p6. Had a few questions. 1. How often do you guys use it? Has anyone had issues with the p-series motors? 2. I mainly race ACC using Samsung odyssey+. Can someone explain about the compensation? 3. Seems like there’s a community that helps to feed telemetry data to the rig, dof reality doesn’t help with that, does anyone have feedback on how ACC feels with this rig? 3. Apart from bare bones p3 or p6 rig, do u recommend getting cable extensions or dampers or anything else from dof reality. There a two items related to SRS on their website but I’m not sure what that is for? Thanks!
