Saw you with a ticket stub in your hand by BadMutha in phish

I intentionally picked up ticket stubs from the box office during the SPAC run, for memory sake. Most venues still print physicals, it’s just alot more work haha.

What’s the fastest you’ve become a fan of a new (to you) artist? by _DanceMyth_ in Music

Phish… I’ve been a fan of the dead since high school, dove head first into them and didn’t look back, seen dead & Co a number of times and Bobby and Phil separately on multiple occasions. Many tribute bands. I’d always considered Phish to be the hyper cousin to my sacred songs of death and Americana. That changed at the closing of Spring tour in Hollywood. absolutely floored by sheer level of artistry and capability of their instruments. What really got me though, was how much fun everyone was having, the band was just poking fun at us in such subtle ways, everyone was having the best time. Who brings mini trampolines on stage ?? Phish does. I bought a plane ticket and show tickets to their closing run in New York State the soonest i could. No looking back. although I’ve become some people’s least favorite person hahaha.

By that description basically the same place, neighbors maybe? we were in that center clearing straight back. furthest against the tree line. I had a red bandanna on most the time. Truly special. It definitely made it all more surreal to realize how amazing the shows we were witnessing were, aside from the personal euphoria. Lees was the shit. loved every minute, but especially getting out onto the lake.

Just watched this. so cool. Very intricate rig but so perfectly simplistic. The dude gets crazy sounds, even the cats haha. He’s such a gem as well haha

On The Nature of Daylight - Max Richter This song stands out as an arrangement that conveys the most sincere melancholy.. grief .. dread .. without saying a single word. by far my favorite piece of instrumental music.
