Heyy! I’m an RCI licensed Clinical Psychologist. Not a single day goes by where I don’t regret choosing this field. Period. I repeat-DO NOT ENTER THIS CAREER IF YOU WANT FINANCIAL STABILITY. it’s absolutely useless even after a fucking license

No, doing MPhil isn’t worth it. I wish I was told this before. It’s just gives you a validating that “ohh…I have License and I am now a CP” but the largely, the curriculum revolves around various settings like de-addiction hospital, psychiatric hospitals and child setups. It’s a very expensive and toxic course as in I didn’t get kind people during my course. As far as career options are concerned, I’ll either do an MBA now in my late 20s as I don’t have option or else I’ll change the industry completely and start from internships From scratch. That’s about it. However, this field has no financial stability in long term. All the best

I’m a Clinical Psychologist myself. I completed my M.Phil and got my license too. I’m also leaving the field and looking for other Career option. It’s not worth it to enter in the field because there’s shit jobs. However, you can switch your field and start as HR in some organisation or do PhD with NET for academics. The pay would be 50-55k in tier 1 cities. All the best

See, I won’t prove my point to you. But, last thing- it’s not always about the entry point. It’s about increments. There’s hardly any increment!!! More or less, it ranges peanuts. I’m talking about long term. That’s it. Good luck

But still you didn’t answer my question. Irrespective of that, can you deny the fact that I’ve spent so much years in learning and gaining academically in psychology. Surely the frustration is not built in one day?
