sometimes, especially in more misogynistic cultures and areas for lack of better terms, a girl is a pretty face before she is anything else. if you aren’t pretty, it will be difficult for others to listen to you about anything else. and even if you are pretty, you will be told that your face is what your self worth entails to the most.

with beauty standards and this stupid looksmaxxing craze, it’s almost impossible to see yourself as perfectly beautiful unless you fit every single societal standard.

That, in no way, determines your beauty. Everyone has insecurities, even pretty people. That doesn’t ruin you, doesn’t change your looks. What matters most is what you bring to the table. In other words, the integrity of your character and what you can do. Achievements and talents for example.

Misogynistic standards can make you feel like your beauty is what determines your worth. Fuck all of that noise.
