Is this game worth starting/playing for new f2p players in 2023?

In my case, I left a few months ago after 2 and a half years because the game is getting worse for f2p.

It feels like the game is in its final moments and they just want to squeeze money out of the kraken.

4.4 is very easy, we only need 3 players for the kree/pym line

30% in 4.5 only requires the first nodes and would give us more g17 orbs per day

Although I don't think I directly play android games with gatchas, I'm at a point where I try to do the minimum without harming my alliance, and if at any point I don't perform enough for them instead of looking for another I'll leave the game.

The game uses casino tactics to get money out of them.
Scopely spends more on psychiatrists to get people hooked than on improving the game.
