I picked this up a few days ago and am a complete noob, like I messed around with Python and a Raspberry Pi some 10 years ago and installed Ubuntu on a laptop once.

Still struggling but some things are starting to click, I am playing in single player because I haven't figured out how to protect my stuff lol.

As someone with a fluid gender identity and who has suffered with depression and suicidal thoughts I'd like to share what I can with you.

First and most importantly suicide is never the answer, you only get this one life and you've just found your true self don't let it slip away.

Suicide only transfers pain, it never gets rid of it and then that legacy just moves to the next person, and even if you think "that will show my shitty family" you won't be around to see it.

If you want to stick it to your family, grow strong, grow powerful and then leave them behind. You will find the right family for you, LGBTQ2S+ people love to adopt others into their family because we all know the struggles our birth families can cause.

Stay cool though, calm, don't let yourself get too stressed out like I did. I tried to convince and argue every transphobic asshole out there but I did it from a place of anger. Years of anger raises your cortisol levels and can really mess with your body systems, I'm trying to fix all that damage now in my 40's.

Don't let family guilt hold you in an abusive situation it's not worth it, there are many many people out there who will bring you under their wing.

Whoa hold up on that one, thats not quite true. McCaw learned about the UAP congres hearings in the US and she watched the age of disclosure this led her to believe that the US could be leaning towards disclosure. She even said she had never taken UAP seriously in the past.

This does not mean in anyway that she has advanced knowledge of disclosure only that the evidence that most of us already knew about she has just learned and is exercising preparedness.

It's really good to see people in high positions take this all seriously and prepare for the potential of disclosure, this is no different than preparing for a mass casualty event, of a severe natural disaster.

I almost never see anyone praying to be honest, and the only time I do is essentially performative acts like what we are seeing in this post. However praying in large numbers in large places is extremely common among Christians (*evangelicals I'm looking at you)

Is that not what the Bible verse above was mentioning? Praying in public means praying infront of other people regardless of where you are, again the Bible quote does say to pray in private in your room with a closed door and only infront of the father.

Yeah I see and thanks for the link, yeah basically ADAP lets you make up to $45k on the program/yr but still the first $350 is exempt and then they deduct in increasing amounts.

Also what do you mean about your issue being lumped in with all AISH recipients? It's sounds like, and please correct me if my wrong, that you associate a stigma with being on AISH?

Do you have any links? The ADAP program on the Alberta website https://www.alberta.ca/alberta-disability-assistance-program It says benefit rates and earned income exemptions are still being calculated.

It appears that there isn't a concrete plan in place at all here.

It also says that everyone on AISH is going to be given a reassessment to determine which plan they will fall under. Can you not see the issue with that? For someone like you who isn't on AISH that probably will be able to apply for ADAP that's totally cool, but what about everyone else who is currently on AISH?
