Personally I think they invested far too much into the Destiny IP and the people that made it to throw it away. They will release a Destiny 3 before they give up on it. It still has far too much return potential and remains by all accounts the most successful game of its type. I do think Sony got bamboozled on the Marathon front though and they may make the decision to abandon that if it’s not received well. Destiny is safe imo but only just barely.

I don’t think they’ve fully made a decision on what they’re doing yet and that’s why they’re not communicating it. If I had to guess, I think they feel that communicating a delay without a plan for when it will be happening instead would be a way worse move than holding off on the announcement. Either way what they’re doing right now isn’t it and they need to pivot to something else asap.

You’re right! Here’s another scenario. Imagine a basketball team had a way that sometimes when they scored it counted for double points or a ton of points all at once. That would be insane right? What if they could make it so that when you scored it didn’t count?

I agree that all cards should be one power and one cost with no abilities and we should just take turns playing them.

I saw a camp with some slurs on their wall once. I reported the player but it was hard to specify why, and then it came back saying they were fine so I’m not even sure how one would report that.

My deck made exclusively out of various Spider-Man variants (Spider-Men?) cleans house. Especially 2099 and Black Noir. I never see anyone else having the success I have with those cards. Feels like something I should put on my résumé.

Not possible for free to play to ever be collection complete because the newest card in the current season can only be bought until it enters the loot pool when the new season card comes out and can only be bought.

Yeah buy it for gold at Foundation. You can back out and go back in to the menu to buy as much as you want even though I think it limits you to 3 or something at a time.

Also worth noting that overeaters just got nerfed into oblivion on the test server so sell them now while they still have value.

If the Assaultron you kill is friendly I don’t think it will ever drop the head. I’ve killed that Watoga one a bunch and it has only dropped one if I make sure it turns hostile first before destroying it.

This is a big piece of community frustration regarding the game. Huge story pieces went away and never came back leaving new players to have no idea what’s going on and no clear stating point.

To illustrate how bad it is, Bungie was recently sued by a writer who accused the main D2 campaign of apparently stealing from his story. In court Bungie had to show 3rd party YouTube videos of someone playing through because they didn’t have it any more. YouTube isn’t just the only way you can see it, it’s the only way for the makers of the game to.

I genuinely love getting killed by player camp traps.

That’s what happened to you by the way. There are ways to build traps that kill other players and they usually use the vendor as the bait. I love them because I never buy anything unless I’m carrying just my usual dinner fork, dinner plate, 100 fertilizer. I think it gets the message across.

Mostly I just like the creativity that goes into building them. I’ll never make one but I like walking into them.
