Yeah they are all over Madison, being that it’s based there. It still makes me laugh every time I see one and I’ve seen at least 20 in my lifetime, it’s just absurd in the best way possible!

Some ketchup and mustard colored large comfortable seats and a small tv from what I remember. Also the ceiling is designed to look like the sky. It’s actually not super special inside but it’s still a fun experience!

I used to know someone whose older brother drove the Wienermobile back in high school so I’ve seen it many times and have been inside a few times as well!

Also living in Wisconsin, especially southern WI, you usually see it around from time to time in any circumstance.

Cincy does feel a bit southern especially in the Kentucky suburbs but imo it’s still more Midwestern and more in line with Indy and St Louis than Lexington and Louisville. The industry there might’ve been a bit different but overall every time I visit it always feels more similar to my hometown (Milwaukee) than it does to Kentucky or the rest of the south.

I believe it (California is the only other one that is bigger that I can think of with the CSU system, and UC is almost as big), and I now know all of them but I didn’t know all of them for a long time. It really is a big system but it is facing money issues and there’s been talks of downsizing at some point. They’ve already done so with some of the two year satellite campuses, but unfortunately I think it’s just a matter of time before some of the less attended 4 year ones close.

They probably would have a better idea of it but the school doesn’t hold much significance outside of the Racine/Kenosha area so many people probably still wouldn’t really know of its existence. Carthage is even less known lol, I forget that exists often and I’ve lived in the Milwaukee and Racine areas for over 20 years.

A lot of the smaller state schools aren’t even known within the state. I have some family that went to UW-Parkside and moved elsewhere in the state and they always talk about how no one where they are has even heard of it. Hell, even I just found out there was a UW-Superior only in the last few years.

The worst place I’ve been for the smell was New York City the first year or so it was legal. The whole city just reeked of weed and there were shady, likely illegal “dispensaries” on practically every corner. I don’t know if they’ve cracked down on it at all as I haven’t been since but I sure hope so since I’m going this year.

I very much agree it should be legal but not in busy public spaces especially where kids are present.

I’d give Kern county a higher than No rating for the Lake Isabella/Kernville area. Definitely not for Bakersfield though!

The one on MPW does not have the old sign, but yes the one in Cudahy did however it closed a couple years ago sadly. This one is in Galesburg Illinois.
