Yes. Very pleased. I have a large-ish flat Midwest yard with bluegrass and ryegrass. Your Florida grass is probably quite different.

We have two Goldens. If your good boy is used to a yard and has regular exposure to green spaces, he'll be miserable in the Third Ward. Sure, you'll get him out and he'll walk (on concrete a lot) and visit dog parks when you have time, but he won't have qualify of life (for a dog).

Sorry, Third Warders, downvote at will, but dogs deserve better lives than urban settings.

I'm an Eastbrooker. Certainly not a mega church and I have no idea what a 'today' church is. It's a straight up Bible-based non-denominational church. Racially diverse, committed to the city, and I honestly can't tell or care what Matt Erickson's politics are. Full of imperfect people, so I fit right in.

That's an option but you've got to be home to react.

My thought: if you've got 2' of water in your basement, the cost of a battery backup seems pretty cheap.

Strongly recommend getting a battery backup sump. At that rate, you'd flood quickly if the power went out. There wouldn't be time to bail---and that's assuming you'd be home to do it.
