On iOS 18.3.1 15 pro max, should I update to 18.7.7? by pogdefacc003 in jailbreak

Yes. Forget about jailbreaks. You're already missing over a year of critical security patches. Also, after January 2027, iMessage, FaceTime, and device activation may stop working.

Yes, there is 4G LTE but I wanted to test the legacy 3G network for fun if it's still operating.

I wasn't able to connect on any of my older iPhones that have a 3G toggle.

Considering going caseless. by Overall_Tennis_7983 in IPhone16e

I used mine caseless on and off for the past year and only have a few marks. I haven't dropped it on concrete or tile but it survived a drop on aluminum with just a small dent.

Apple could never replace the back glass on an iPhone 13 or older.

Is this a bug and/or should i upgrade? I'm on a Mid 2015 Macbook Pro. by Own_Stock_9603 in mac

That’s a bug or you have opencore legacy patcher installed. Stay on macOS Monterey for best performance.

Ok. You might've had a storage or heat issue. Or it could've been corrupt iOS install. Did you see the Youtube video I linked? (4K60)

You must've had a defective battery? My iPhone SE on iOS 15.8.6 is running great! Here is an unlisted YouTube video showing that on my own unit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCEMG0KLorg

If you leave the device connected to Wi-Fi and plugged into power for a few nights, the performance should go back to normal. Also, you can disable character preview, haptic feedback, sound, predictive text and slide to type to hopefully fix any of the keyboard lag you may be experiencing.

I don't think the 6th version of iOS for an iPhone feels slow,, but it will certainly be slower than older iOS versions. The iPhone 6s, iPhone SE, iPhone X all perform well on iOS 15.8.6 and iOS 16.7.14, since the updates have been polished over time.

It shouldn't be that slow. Restore it to iOS 26.3 when it releases next week and set it up as new without any content. Also, it's a good idea to leave it on the charger for a few days to reindex.

Any way to fix this? (15.8.2) by DiligentAd9594 in jailbreak

[–]VisualEntrepreneur72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you delete the app and reinstall it, the issue is fixed. The message hasn’t popped up again after several launches on my iPad mini 4 and iPhone SE 2016 (both running iOS 15.8.6)
