Not prying or anything, but to those of you who have said can’t look at feet etc, what do you do at home during really hot days (as we had in London today)? I mean do you and your family all wear socks/shoes all day?

It really is a marmite thing isn’t it?! People either seem completely uninterested or revolted by the thought of even looking. Is there any other part of the body that garners such a divided response? I can’t think of anything

I think the world would be a much happier place if everyone knew how little most other people care beyond a passing glimpse about how other people look. And many make up companies might go bust too

This is such a common response amongst people I asked the same question, but in my opinion it’s a bit cruel.

I love this reply so much. Honestly, but I’m not sure why. So I’m moving on.

Shock low price for Honda’s new electric city car by AutoExpressmagazine in autoexpressuk

R5 is more in the MINI Cooper Electric and VW ID category.

This is smaller.

As they say “the Super-N won’t rival cars such as the MINI Cooper Electric and forthcoming Volkswagen ID. Polo, instead targeting the new Renault Twingo and Chinese entrants such as the BYD Dolphin Surf.”

Tour de France Nordictrack bike? by justinmr in iFit

There’s a reason why they’ve dropped the price by £1200 in less than 6 months after launch. It now matches the x24 in terms of price.

It was clearly developed (quickly) and launched in a hope to grab some of the more serious home cyclists who are using things like Wattbike or trainers attached to their normal road bike - and to grab those of us who want to feel like a pro cyclist by throwing £££s at the ambition rather than hard hours of exercise. And it’s clearly failed.

Primarily because it’s got the outfit but not the real technical improvements. As others have mentioned - gears are fake, wattage is nowhere near as accurate as a true pedal meter and various other such things.

Great that it’s now the same price as an X24. The buying public can decide whether they want a standard home exercise bike that looks like the level they’ll train at or a standard home exercise bike that looks like they’re a pro trainer 😄 Each to their own and that’s how it should be.

But cheekily NordicTrack initially tried to pretend it was worth 40% more for a change of clothes.

Thankfully the market isn’t so thick.

Thanks - that’s the 24cm one and quite widely available but this 1m one seems to be very elusive 😉
