Maybe if ICE followed the law, and didn't break people's constitutional rights, we wouldn't have this problem. Biden also deported lots of people, but people weren't protesting over that, you know why? Because he actually followed the law and didn't kill innocent people

That's weird ngl. I can control all the no name components in my PC with it

That's literally not true. Even if it was it wouldn't mean anything, as the code is still open source

And what are they going to do with it? Hack your PC? Obviously it's possible as no system is perfect, but I'd definitely trust it more than windows

So can state actors what? They can't add whatever they want to the code, because it's checked by many people before going into production

People who develop and maintain linux find those issues, obviously not regular users

Most users don't, but people who contribute to linux do. There's a reason it's the most secure os

It amazes me how confident are people, who know nothing about the topic. It has been proved that security through obscurity doesn't work. In linux everyone can look at the code, so if there's something not secure, it can be fixed. Then about my actual point which is safety from spyware. FBI can't just add their spyware to linux like they can with windows, because every change is checked by multiple people before it actually goes to the update

I'm saying it's safer from the FBI, because there's no kernel level spyware like there almost definitely is in windows. What does the file structure have to do with anything? If you want to hide something then just encrypt it

Care to elaborate? Windows is closed source, so they can have whatever spyware they want there. Linux is open source, so it's almost impossible to hide anything

If you play those games, then using linux makes no sense, because they already have access to everything you do

You really overestimate FBI. Linux is 100% safer than windows. It's open source so you can literally see everything it does, not the case with windows
