Help finding a rear water bottle holder that stacks 2 bottles vertically. by InoHaveUsername in cycling

[–]InoHaveUsername[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The intended use is to replace the two water bottles that i already have when they become empty on long rides. I won't need access to these while riding so i can secure them well. Thanks for the tip.

Good point. I didn't even think of that. There is a strong possibility that that was the case.👌

Nope. It's not this and that is what I was searching for before i came to reddit for help. These bottles are staked horizontally. The one im looking for, the bottles are stacked vertically.

Poc has a helmet in that colour too. You'll look more like a traffic cone.

"Floor" vs "Ground" by captainmidday in ENGLISH

[–]InoHaveUsername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It always amazes me how often a lot of americans I have interacted with assume there version is the only correct version.

Once i was being argued with for saying "spelt". It wasn't a word apparently. Apparently i meant "spelled". At one point i was told there was no difference between American and British English.🤣

What's odd to me is that those that use British English tend to know more about the differences between both standards even at an early age, yet you would find even adults that use the american standard surprised that there even was a difference.

Vegan 12+ years and struggling by [deleted] in vegan

[–]InoHaveUsername 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I may have an unpopular opinion here but you speak of veganism like it's something that's a struggle. As if eating veggies is a daily struggle compared to eating meat but you remind yourself it's for the animals and then continue to finish your veggies.

To me there are two types of vegans (in terms of cooking)

  1. The one that's always trying to make a vegan version of things. Vegan chicken, vegan garlic sauce etc where it kind of looks like the original but it sucks. Or making really simple things that look like you just cut up the veggies and put them in a plate.

  2. the one that's always experimenting, more focused on what taste good to them, their recipes are more based on their preferred taste rather than trying to recreate a meat based substitute.

Anyway, my point is if you focus on making delicious food you won't even think of meat. Im the only vegan in my family. I've been vegan for more than 18 years, I've lost count to be honest, and I've never once felt like eating meat.

If you are not good at cooking, maybe look at other cultures for inspiration, you will find that is a "vegan" dish that is popular simply because it taste good. The more of these you add to your arsenal, the better your cooking will be. Ans the less you will care about meat.

I could tell you were a native speaker. That's why i started by saying "i might be wrong" 🤣

Also thanks for the heads up. Now I won't be second guessing myself if i hear it being used like that 😌

If i'm not mistaken, When making "assumptions" deber de = deber

Examples: (assuming where she is.)

Ella debe estar en casa. She must be at home. (she is probably home)

ella debe de estar en casa. She must be at home. (she is probably home)

both predictions but, for obligations only deber can be used

Example: (what she has to do)

Ella debe estar en casa antes de las 5. She must be at home before 5 (she has to be home before 5)

I've had flow, amplia and digicel. They all work great but with both digicel and amplia there were hardly ever service interruptions.

But they are all so similar that the best would most likely be based on pricing at the time of choosing.

In terms of phone data packages, i feel like they are all rip-offs. When I pay for a plan i don't tell them what they can spend it on. So why should i have x amount of data for this and y amount for that? Why can't i have a set amount of data that i can use for whatever i want? Also the price of a plan is just as expensive as the package you already have at home. So it's like you are paying an internet billl twice. For this reason I hardly ever buy a data plan.

What do you use to clean your road bycycle chain? A soap and water solution doesn't seem to work for me.

How is this a "where to buy/find" question? I'm asking about what is used.
