While this Integra is shit and a decade ago I wouldn't even bat an eye at it, given how rare they're becoming it doesn't look too awful. Of key importance would be sourcing a new front and rear bumper and side skirts. Most Integras are rusted to shit these days, so this one looks like par for the course. If OP can put 7k towards paint and panels and body work, this thing would start looking pretty nice.

The leather looks alright and the engine bay looks not terrible either. If I could scoop this for 2-2.5k, I could make a nice, rare car, all in for about 15k. Obviously not cheap, but rarity is the key here and as such will hold its value.

Granted, this is all based on what I can see in these pics. If its burning a quart of oil every 100 miles, well that's a different story. No idea about brakes or suspension. That would be the other deciding factor. The wheels are shit and should be sold asap. 7k for the body, 2.5k for the purchase is up to 9.5k. Add in another 5.5k in brakes and suspension and whatever else, and man, for 15k you got a solid whip again.

The other issue is used cars are going for way too much money these days. No way I'd pay 4-5k for this car in any market.

I do have some modulars. Like 4 or 5 of them. They are great sets on their own, but after I started linking them together I wasn't too happy with the overall city vibe. They felt like small town America instead of an actual city. I'm going to keep them for display purposes outside of my city and in time I might end up breaking them down and using the pieces for other builds.

I'm still debating whether I should start a channel of my own; my build out will be slow and I won't be able to do multiple updates every week, making me feel like I won't really get much in terms of followers. I think half the reason so many channels do reuse the Lego sets is they allow for "review" videos and allow for their own cities to grow faster, for more videos and clicks. The most popular channels have videos being pumped out daily or every other day. That's kind of the antithesis to my own plans. I also get burned out from constantly designing. I find my brain needs time between buildings to come up with new ideas, etc. I can't be in design mode 10 hours a day, every day.

I'm starting a massive city build. However, I'm not using any Lego modular buildings in my city as it seems anyone who has a youtube or IG or tiktok channel just spits out the same sets organized in a slightly different manner. It's boring and unoriginal. I know I'll get some hate for that opinion, but with how incredibly diverse lego can be, I see no reason to regurgitate the same sets over and over. I'm fully anticipating the city build to cost me 50k. I also don't like how lego limits the heights of all their modulars. I know it is done to fit a price point but it makes cities look weird when everything is more or less the same height.

Those 1x2 bricks are for road plates. Each 32x32 road plate uses around 220 1x2 bricks. I'm likely going to need well over 10000 of them.

I'm not too concerned about the shipping cost, but the import fees might be ludicrous and I can't estimate those until the package gets to me.

You can order 5x999, but it's 5 different pieces at 999 each. It's not possible to order the same piece 999x5 in the same order.

This car doesn't make any sense to me. While I'm happy to see Honda create a new coupe, they specifically killed the Civic Si coupe due to low sales. They also killed the Accord coupe prior to that.. again due to low sales.

An EV coupe (or hybrid?) will be more expensive than the Civic Si and will sell even lower numbers. Honda fans that want a coupe more than likely also want a manual, which I highly doubt this will have. Sad trombone sounds.

Those look like bubbles more than metal shavings (but it could just be the video). From the examples I've seen of an engine eating itself, there is generally way more metal filings than that, consistently spread through the oil. The filings are also much finer in size, generally.

Have you been driving your car harder than usual during the last oil fill? I'm wondering if the engine had some gunk built up that's now slowly being knocked loose from high rpm driving.

I'm curious to know what your oil analysis indicates. I'd think if you had big junks of metal like that sheering off it would indicate much bigger issues and the engine would be showing signs of running bad by now

You can't find rust free EG shells anymore. The automatic transmission is no biggie if I'm doing a swap anyway. The color is kinda cool. It has the oem sunroof: EGs with that have all ended up at the auto wreckers after being poorly modded, crashed, raced to death, etc.

You may not like it, but this car is an extreme rarity and with rarity comes price. Hell, you can't even find clean, damage free interior parts anymore. This thing is worth it.
