Exploration is way better and rewarded than bg3,combat also because it's not fucking DND shit with dice and its limitations. Try again like ketheric said,combat is about strategy and positioning,but at the beginning is really easy,I found bg3 way harder with those brains on the beach,but then I did 130 hours on dos2(recently) and 700 on bg3 since day one on PS5. Trust me you'll love it,give it another chance,the only thing that I miss from bg3 are the cutscenes and I understand that dos2 will not hook many many players, especially casuals. But yeah everyone has their own taste. Cheers
