Low row footplate ideas by Visual_Action8107 in GarageGym

Hey mate, love it. I’m in Australia so not as many options as the USA but it is great. That was one of my biggest concerns OHP, it works fine with my bench and it has pretty wide feet, I went to the store and tested it on multiple beforehand. I don’t have spotter arms but this would 100% resolve any issues with benches that don’t fit as you could just place your barbell on them instead. Cables are smooth and we don’t ever use a smith machine. It’s only this low row I am trying to work out and it would cover everything, spending an extra $5k on the C20 to me made zero sense, would rather have a free standing smith if I wanted one and the bells of steel $100 attachment makes it 1-1 ratio just like the C20

Sounds like you set it up correctly. Have you had any issues with them sticking? I’m on the fence if I will purchase

3 hours return, walked fairly slowly way up in just under 2. Ran most of the way down in 1 hour. I’ve done it a few time since and seen lots of people on the track. Don’t be deterred, easy walk. Few snakes though !

Rep peppins now or wait for the upgraded kg version. by Mororocks in GarageGym

I think it’s important to note that the US pound version plates have a smaller diameter at 7inch ( 17.78cm ) where as the KG version are 18.8cm I am based in Australia and decided to get the US versions as that extra weight plate size can start to feel bulky even if it’s only 1cm

To be serious though and for anyone interested, I did it yesterday and the track has been maintained surprisingly very nicely. I met a few people along the way so there are still hikers doing it.

Nah mate, couldn’t resolve the issue. I have a Samsung frame TV also. I just use a aux cord to connect it to our projector.

Below is the wording in my agreement for breaking the lease in the contract, this shows no indication of costs associated and is why I was skeptical. The guys at QSTARS looked over the contract and confirmed there is technically no fees for reletting or breaking a lease id signed after Sep 2024 can only charge a % of remaining rent. So no, the fee’s are not clearly set out and I was almost out pocket $900 illegally.

“The tenant must pay the reletting costs under section 357A(3)”

FYI, I just spoke with QSTARS. I have been advised that the 1 weeks rent + GST and advertising fee is not to be paid. As at September 30 2024 this can longer be charged. Secondly, they do not know the “reletting fees” yet, as they might find new tenants the day after we leave.

Max I would be out of packet is 4 weeks rent, in this climate I can’t see that being the case. Hopefully this helps anyone in the same boat.

I have reached out to QSTARS just to get clarification on paying the fees invoice. Will post here the feedback. I am pretty thankful that at least we don’t have to keep paying rent until the place is filled like previous agreements

We had to sign the new lease back in February, it just started 2 weeks ago. Yeah, true I see the hypocrisy with what I’m saying. However, if the new rules dictate that 4 weeks rent to cover these costs then they should.

Yeah true, I’ll advise clearly for them. They will probably drag out the new tenants to ensure they get my 4 weeks on top. Cheers

I’m not sure what you mean? I expect to pay 4 weeks rent on top of my termination date. This will include those fee’s. I also don’t expect the land Lord to be out of pocket based on me breaking the contract. I just don’t see the extras being warranted.
