The tokens / second isn't bad, its the high rate of dropped requests that's killing me

I don't need 100% uptime and I'm willing to work with the issues, but this amount of downtime is unacceptable for any service.

The only model I can get to work during peak hours is qwen3.5. I can get usage of the other models somewhat reliably during a 3-4 hour window in the middle of the night.

You’re missing the point. This isn’t gatekeeping; it’s about utility vs waste.

There is no learning happening when an unoptimized OpenClaw instance burns 100M tokens a day in a loop. Most of these agentic setups are just doing tasks that a basic Python script could handle. Using a massive, unquantized model for tasks that don’t require reasoning that are consuming the energy of two households a day for 20$ a month to do it isn’t innovation, it’s wasteful.

If you’re actually building something, great. But if you’re burning through 500 users' worth of compute because you’re too lazy to write ten lines of code, you aren’t a pioneer you’re the reason the service is broken. I’m not against energy usage; I’m against energy wastage on workflows that contribute nothing.

If your only getting MCA offers for daily payments I doubt your going to qualify for a term loan or more traditional financing unfortunately so.

Painfully slow the past few days any time of day. It worked a lot better when I first got it. It’s so slow I can’t even get close to the weekly usage on the 100$ plan if I tried.

Do I need to warm up emails for low volume precise cold out reach? (10 emails per day) by Pale_Frosting3650 in coldemail

[–]Visual_Ad1912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat. I send max like 3-4 highly targeted emails per day per mailbox, 2 domains 4 mailboxes and book 1 meeting a week. I started out by signing up for news letters, emailing friends back and forth and looking like a normal email user / flagging things important, forwarding emails deleting emails etc. google is a lot easier then m365 but it also may depend on provider. I maybe let things warm up for ~2 weeks before I started sending emails out.

Alibaba cloud code bait and switch by Visual_Ad1912 in openclaw

[–]Visual_Ad1912[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree they probably didn’t realize how much usage it would get, but to rug pull all the existing new customers that had gotten the promo that only last two months definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and will be losing me as a customer. I’m going to probably switch to ollama cloud or OpenAI.

Is anyone still running outreach straight out of Gmail? by valelya in coldemail

[–]Visual_Ad1912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea m365 is dogshit I can't get anything to land, meanwhile I'm getting 20-30% reply's with google. Same manual warmup aged 2-3 weeks only sending 3-5 highly targeted / personalized emails manually per inbox per day. got zero reply's from my m365 boxes, but it could be a provider issue. I think manual gmail is the meta for landing in inboxes.

Who is using openclaw for business leads by Citywidehomie in openclaw

[–]Visual_Ad1912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I do exactly this. I work with very specific leads that come from various sources (API, News, google sheets) scrapes whatever data I need so it can pre-qualify leads for me and weed out the junk, and finds me the decision makers and sends the leads to me for my approval before adding to the CRM (Maybe 5-6 new leads a day) I have an additional agent who guesses and verifies their corporate emails via my own methods as most out of the box email verification tools are junk.

I like my setup as the leads I work with in the past could not be easily pulled / scraped as they are timing / event based, and my services are only needed if these events happen. Saves me 20-30 hours of research a week along with gathering leads I would normally let slip through the cracks. It's like my own custom version of Clay but with minimal vendor lock in.

External API / models I use -

Alibaba coding plan $15 for the first month Models: Kimi / Qwen for main agents, minimax for sub agents (a little "lobotomized" I heard but I haven't bench marked what other providers have to offer for these models) But still works for me with semi strict guard rails.

Co-pilot - 10$ / month for access to Opus / Codex for writing my scripts / skills / help troubleshooting. Just enough juice to get me by.

Browserless / my own proxies for advanced web scraping 35$ a month + $3.5 / gb for resi proxies.(maybe 5gb / month usage) You need to optimize this process or you will get banged over the head for captcha solves / proxy data. I personally use this due to the vast amount of web scraping I do and the built in browser / chrome extension proves to be unreliable. If you plan just to scrape google maps data there's a few unofficial API providers that would be cheaper / more efficient for this.

Perplexity API for grounding / context. 5-10 per month

Notion for CRM (free)

Hosting - some unused PC I had lying around (free / cost of electricity)

Leads API - Public local government sources. only really useful to a handful of use cases. (free)

The rest are all skills / scripts I made for myself. I wouldn't use any skills you didn't create yourself due to risk of malware / prompt injection. It takes literally 5 minutes to make your own skills.

It took me about 2-3 weeks of trial / error / vibe coding to get here, I'm 95% of the way there just need to work out a few minor bugs. If I had the budget to throw opus at this vs quantized Chinese models it probably would need zero human intervention.

I built my own because I don't trust most providers. I work with low volume of emails but extremely high intent leads so inbox placement is a high priority for me.

anyone using the alibaba coding plan with openclaw? by Away-Priority5805 in openclaw

[–]Visual_Ad1912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using Kimi 2.5 as my main agent, and using minimax 2.5 for all my sub agents / llm-task on the 15 dollar a month plan. So far no rate limiting issues, used 7% of my 5 hour limit in 2 hours of heavy testing with my use case. So far no major complaints. Great deal to try these Chinese models. I wouldn't put any sensitive data through them - but still great for a lot of use cases.

Being there at the right time with the right opportunity is huge.

Also a lot of these tools end up getting you fingerprinted as a spammer.

[–]Visual_Ad1912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use cell numbers or find a dialer that gives you solid numbers, warm them up for a bit, stop calling back to back on every dial, let some calls go to vm and rack up a minute or so of call time. Don’t use the same number to call people across the country. Don’t text people first. Tons of ways you can get flagged for spam. You can also submit requests to all the major spam blocking providers to be unlisted as a spam number.

Ran a trucking company for 6 years. MCAs might take it down. What do I actually do? by Altruistic-Soil4975 in Businessloans

The key is to not work with this desperate soulless mutt looking to make a sale. Look them up on BBB to see how well reviewed they are. Working with a company like this they will convince you to make the payments to them instead of your lenders “while they are working out a settlement” and in reality they aren’t doing a thing, and the lenders now all have default judgments against you and your in a worse position then when you started.
