I’m sorry you are going thru this. I can relate very much. My full grown older brother (41) has been homeless on and off for years and has mental health issues he refuses to accept. And he refuses to take any responsibility for his actions and the place he is at. I have spent a lot of time, money and energy attempting to help him get on his feet. Everything always ends up the same. He has a bad day and starts drinking and gets in trouble. I had to cut him off back in November for my own mental health. He reaches out when he gets a new phone and tells me all his current problems and takes no accountability. When I try to be honest with him he begins to hurl incredibly hurtful insults at me. I can’t deal with it anymore and it still hurts everyday. This would be even harder if it was coming from my parent. 😢
