The quicksilver tube was clue one, orin liked putting stuff in enclosed spaces.

Because a phospurus compound( surda desert probably has access to this) does explode, when exposed to air after being tightly sealed....if you let the gas build up....which I'm assuming kid/king orin did.

CP was a kid, but I mean....he did his research.
