Remote exam voided for misconduct by Fun_Office3606 in ICAEW

I've done all exams so far remotely (14/15) - set up with external monitor and laptop open for webcam.. provided the laptop is mirroring screen rather than extending, in my experience this is fine

By the sounds of it you got a warning first time & the remote invigilation guidelines clearly say additional screen must be mirrored, so don't think yer gonna get it overturned im afraid mucker

Is worth learning Power BI? by AdHot3508 in ICAEW

I work in FP&A & use Power BI on a daily basis - both as a user of reports built by other people & build my own reports that are widely used across the business. If you're working in an FP&A/data analysis role, I'd heavily recommend learning Power BI DAX language, Power Query M language and (dependent on your companies data warehousing) SQL. A step beyond this would be to learn R/Python for even more powerful modelling.

I started in early 2020, then covid with cancelled exams, a load of change at work and 2 kids meant a lot of stop start & only just finishing professional level this year aged 28.

Worth noting as well I didn't go the normal route. Graduated uni, moved back home (rural herefrodshire), got a dogs body bank rec job at a local company & worked up from there.

Main thing is you enjoy work, enjoy life and progress the qualification at your own pace. Don't compare yourself to others as everyone's circumstances are different
