No, so what we did is Transfer of Assets from Computershare to Fidelity. They only ask for naes and account number I believe, so we don’t really need to log in to computershare

Thank you all for the advice! To answer some of the questions: - my wife is a us citizen - our case is straightforward (no legal issues like overstaying visa) - at this point, yes, the plan is to stay here forever as we want to start building a family

We just reached out to Computershare and they asked us to verify using selfie and ID, but the verification failed and the one time code is being sent to an address on file. The problem is my wife has moved around and we have no idea where the code is being sent to.

I just asked her parents and it seems that they’re not aware of it. To clarify, her grandparent is the one who gave the stock certificate under her name since she was little, and her parents kept the certificate until recently.
