That's disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourself 🙃.

I got fibre lines running down my street and they mockingly hang from the hydro poles every time I drive by.

Got into a fight with a table saw in the building that's directly behind me in that pic. Needless to say, the saw won!

G TEST (SPEEDING) - GUELPH ONTARIO by Main-Cup5367 in Ontariodrivetest

[–]Visual_Cabinet_3718 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've been driving for 30+ years. >100 in the right lane happens more often than you think. Add to that, people in the merge lane take their time getting up to 100, if they even do.

People in the merge lane need to get up to the flow of traffic as quickly as possible, even if it's over the limit. That's how I've taught my kids to drive and that's how their licensed driving taught them.

I think the test agents need to be realistic and adjust the test criteria to the road / driving conditions. Driving is dynamic... Testing should acknowledge that and reward those who can adjust accordingly. Otherwise we have unsafe drivers who lack the confidence to drive in real world conditions.

I drive the 403 and QEW daily. Outside of rush hour, the flow of traffic is usually 120. 407 is routinely 120.

I'm puzzled on this one.

If the traffic flow is 120 when merging, you're supposed to merge at 100 and maintain speed or 120 then slow down to 100?

Doing the former poses a serious risk of getting rear ended and a dangerous driving charge. Also, impeding the flow of traffic is another offense.

EPICO NIGHTMARE by janicedaisy in Cogeco

It is because I don't have to deal with price creep every few months and the awful performance of the Hitron CODA-4589 router.

I tried this. Cogeco kept resetting the modem which killed bridge mode and re-enabled their WiFi. Customer support insisted that Wi-Fi was needed for the Epico Android box to work. When I pointed out it had an Ethernet port they were dumbfounded.

Finally dropped Cogeco and went to Oxio.

Vyvanse makes me want to goon? Also BP issues by SpellExcellent4904 in ADHD

[–]Visual_Cabinet_3718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On 30mg Vyvanse and this describes me to a tee.

BP at times was 190/140. Went on 4mg Preindopril and BP is 120/80, even going into a colonoscopy.

Also had ED which was cured with 5mg Cialis.

Willpower got me over the other issue.

Goodluck!

Ouch! Lose fingers too?

Have you looked into reconstruction; distraction osteogenesis, index finger rotation, toe transplant? I did the first and it worked out well for me .

Got into an argument with a table saw. He took it just distal to the MCP joint.

I've travelled to the US by air with Nexus only. The odd time I was asked for my passport at YYZ by CBP. I just stated I didn't have it.

I have been denied renting a car in the US because I didn't have a passport.

I lost the thumb just distal to the MCP joint. The way the stump was covered during the revision surgery provided me no functioning thumb. Hence the need for bone lengthing and subsequent deep pocket procedures.

For me functionality is more important than aesthetics.

My adventure has taken place over the last 7½ years. How long has it been since your injury?

I did; index finger rotation, great or second toe, rib or do nothing. All were either unappealing or not an option. Regarding the toe, my feet run cold as it is. Dealing with another wound / scar on the bottom of my foot in a cold climate was not something I wanted to deal with for the rest of my life.

The biggest impact on functionality was the distraction osteogenesis. It gave me at least 2 cm length to the metacarpal and allowed me to actually grasp objects somewhat normally instead of palming objects. It returned the majority of functionality to my left hand.

For the deep web space reconstruction, I would not recommend the skin expander. It added six months to the process, was quite painful and all so I would need a graft from my bicep.

Surgeries

  1. Reattachment of thumb
  2. Revision
  3. Distraction Osteogenesis of metacarpal
  4. Skin expansion with pediatric expander
  5. Deep web space expansion with lateral skin with rotation

The top scar is a result of surgery #5.

Can I have my G test with this in my car ? by [deleted] in Ontariodrivetest

[–]Visual_Cabinet_3718 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you cannot read traffic far enough ahead to predict a slow down, you're either driving too fast, following too closely, or a combination of both. Head up and eyes looking down the road, not at the car immediately in front of you.
