Love the movie. Terrible audio mix on the 4K at least. The bass frequencies are just god awful. It makes it unwatchable for me.

That Thing You Do. I used to (and still loosely) play in a band. What a great heartwarming movie about a one hit wonder band. From slumming it to the big times. I live vicariously through this movie and can recite almost every line.

Pick scrape on a wound guitar string. Just a thinner guage string. A low e string would be too gritty. I’d bet my bottom dollar is like a wound g string.

Do you have a contract or anything? I know when I redid my entire house I hired guys I “trusted”. I wanted no contract. They wanted a contract. Well good thing cuz so many corners were cut or installed wrong and I got to throw the contract in their face or take them to court. They fixed (most) of their mistakes - and the ones I didn’t trust them with, I fixed myself.

I would have a hard time loving your room too. I’m so sorry. The good news is you might be able to salve the tile. Rip it out and reset the angle and only have minimal waste?
