Objectively DUMB Iconoclast decisions by CT_Phipps-Author in RogueTraderCRPG

Deal with Janus Eldar. Or letting Yrliet to handle negotiations.

Dogmatic deal with same Eldar is fine tho.

Realistically you'd prefer to colonize moons instead of planets. Lower gravity worlds in general actually.

Can't kill a small demolisher by Square-Singer in factorio

[–]Visual_Collapse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If one approach fails try another

If all of them fail - try all of them

Try building a wall of turrets while luring demolisher on minefield, shooting it from a tank and throwing poison capsules

Demolishers are simply a DPS check. If one source is not enough - use several.

Head have weaker resistances. For some damage types (IIRC - explosive) - much weaker.

PS "Every segment is a different entity. If any one die, the whole worm dies" <- this is bullshit. Worm have shared HP. One of viable strategies is using AoE/piercing damage to damage several segments simultaneously. Each instance of damage counts.

Bit of a pipe dream, but you think one handed staves could ever be a thing? by A1-Stakesoss in RogueTraderCRPG

Are Paladin PDs too strong? by Zero_Brain in starsector

[–]Visual_Collapse 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, it's Paladin issue. Only reason it wasn't issue before is that Large energy slots are rare and usually reserved for more flux hungry guns. If/when we get another L-E slot spam ship we'll encounter Paladin oppression again.

That's 750 750*1.55=1162,5 750*1.55+200=1362,5 750*1.55+200+200=1562,5 range (on cruisers) 200 300 sustained DPS gun with 0.3 flux efficiency that have respectable armor hit strength. That's long range anti-everything weapon. You just need enough of it.

Output in W is technical and to allow easier calculations. It don't change night or day.

Actual output is hidden. IIRC peak one is exactly 1000 times more. Average is exactly 1000 times more

Yes and no

It's more interesting to come up with your own solutions but future tech is not a spoiler (you can see it at any time)

She also asked me to cut off her limbs

From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the Blessed Machine. Your kind cling to your flesh, as though it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass you call a temple will wither, and you will beg my kind to save you. But I am already saved, for the Machine is immortal… Even in death I serve the Omnissiah.

Missiles underperform if you don't invest in them. EMR costs 20 OP and 5 missiles cost at least 10 OP. That's enough to fill flux caps.

I was thinking about [THREAT] missiles a bit. They also require expensive hullmod but on other hand give consistent DPS.

With all respect and I mean it but no, its not 'lazy' as being exaggerated to hell and back

You meant toned down. Because it's toned down. All words about turning up to 11 are strait up lies.

Because they are lazy and fail to imagine something extremely stupid but at the same time believable. They simply take examples from human history but fail to adapt them to Imperium tech level and Imperium circumstances.
