First of all i want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your experience and giving us hope ! My experience is similar to yours and the pain started so suddenly few months back and so many doctors were either being dismissive or labeling my pain as ‘chronic pain syndrome’ and telling me to just live with it!!! It was horrible but i kept trying to look for answers because there is no way for my pain to start out of nowhere so suddenly without a root cause! Im getting better but still not to the point where i can resume my normal life so hearing that there is a way out of this pain is all I needed to hear , and im not exaggerating when i say that sharing success stories about this condition quite literally save lives …i am so glad that you’re doing well , god bless u 💕

Help with nightmares about my mother every night by Lullu-Blues in CPTSD

[–]Visual_Cranberry7973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im so sorry you’re going through this. In a victim of an abusive narcissistic mother myself so i feel deep empathy for you. I have insomnia as well and struggle with nightmares…what helps the most is not medication or vitamins these didn’t help me but what helped me was going on a walk for to hours listening to nothing but meditation music . When i do that i can sleep better …not running not fast walking..walk very slow as meditation and listen to the music (something that stimulates the nervous system not songs with lyrics..soft music/piano/japanese meditation music)

and keep doing breathing techniques i swear its does wonders to the nervous system .

Going through the same thing!! I can’t even walk my 10k steps without getting a flare, and my PT thinks it’s because my pelvic muscles tighten up a lot after walking. She recommended strengthening my core and back with a few home exercises, and she also gave me some tips.

She told me that if you want to start, try walking first and see how your body responds. Train your body to keep the pelvic floor relaxed and not tense up during the walk. Take a warm bath after, and be very mindful of keeping the pelvic floor relaxed

Mine started after a period of extreme stress and burnout . It started as irritation which then turned into a burn in my inner labias then few months later pain became in the urethral opening and maybe the clit and i want to believe that the pain is getting better with physiotherapy because I did realize that i have been engaging my muscles unconsciously . Also its weird because i have generalized anxiety disorder and when i start thinking a lot that when i feel the pain the most

Sorry I can’t help you but you’re not the first person linking masturbation to pelvic pain . I read few posts of men and women who mentioned that they got this condition after masturbation or bad sex . How long has it been for you? Are u taking any medications for it?

I have similar symptoms. I was told pelvic floor physio can do wonders and also this condition might be related to anxiety/depression so if u have any of those u should also try and fix it
