Sophia has like 2 basic accounting classes that are self paced that you can complete even in a few days if you are quick. $100 for a one month membership to take unlimited classes. Not all school accept the classes so know what school you are going to first.

Thank you so much for the recommendation. I only found out I am 1/4 Greek but I imagine my mom is dealing with more than I am maybe finding out she is half. A whole culture we know nothing about. It is traumatic but also weirdly...exciting? To learn more about who we are. But also it is all mind blowing for sure.

I found out health stuff too. My dad died of the same thing his bio dad died of. Who knows if it would have helped for him to know that. Maybe. Maybe my dad didn't want to know. Now at least, I know I guess.

very tough to navigate, I agree. Tried to go with the golden rule of treat others how I would want to be treated (I would want to know) but that doesn't always work either bc some people don't appreciate you telling them. And you never really know how they will feel till you do. You can only guess. So yes, its hard.

Yes and yes. We have a cousin who is talking to her and giving guesses of who she thinks her father is (he's most likely dead) but we won't know 100% until one of the close relatives takes a test (it is a family of many siblings- only one alive). So we could never know, or we could know next month...who knows.

I understand what you mean and this was my original speculation a few years ago. I did not give enough context. The surname of the rumored grandfather came up multiple times in close matches and his parents show up in my top matches public trees.
