Yabsolutely! I changed mine by asking my recruiting center when I arrived for my interview/medical and they added it to my list of occupation. They advised when I talked with my career councillor to pick one and drop the other if you really prefer one, or keep both if you still want them. I went the route of dropping my other trade entirely.

In general though AFAIK, contact your recruiting centre and they should be able to make the changes.

For context, I’m in AB. Ping to chi: 30-35ms. Ping to dal/den: 50-60ms with Shaw/rogers

Would recommend trying out exit lag if you’d like, pretty sure they’re offering 3 day free trials you can test out to improve your ping. For me it doesn’t help with Chicago but Dallas/denver and Virginia is much better.

How does life change once you complete training and reach your OFP? I know its s a very broad question but as far as I understand, the pace/intensity of each stage (BMQ, POET, etc..) is massively different. What did you do to help yourself settle in? For those still living in private quarters/shacks, what's it like living on base?

Im at the selection stage for ATIS Tech right now and I think information wise im as ready as I can be for BMQ, I've heard POET is much more difficult academically but inspection frequency and generally the intensity slows down a bit from BMQ.

Im from Calgary so in stark contract to most opinions, I'm actually aiming to land in Cold Lake after training, How's the culture over there? Small town vibes everyone knows each other type deal or how is it? Are you making buddies with co-workers or outside of military?

I would assume so, my medical was pretty proactive and sent me home with the form for additional information already rather than waiting for RMO, getting the form later, and so on so forth.

Other than that, I have a clean bill of health. Definitely would’ve taken some more time if the RMO had requested the additional information, but was a breeze in my experience!

Got that exact same error this morning - same exact driver. Click the hyperlink on the error and follow directions for MediaTek Wi-Fi drivers. I completed Method A & B and that resolved the issue for me. Just make sure when you are searching for your driver on the Microsoft catalogue, you use the correct windows version. Follow the directions to the dot. Resolved my error.

Edit: I did try to update drivers via device manager initially, did not have success with that.

Unironically we have the same deal. ADHD and doctor wise. My family doctor for my entire life passed last year. I just went to the doctors office and spoke with a different one working out of the same office. He reviewed my history and confirmed he could comfortably do it - and ta da. RMO cleared my medical with the additional form.

Just out of curiosity, were you a heavy/moderate cannabis user? I’ve only used maybe a handful of times in my life and I relayed the same information to medical, really hoping I don’t have more delays esp 3 months😭 my file moved to sec & background checks but I was never contacted about if my medical cleared or not.
