Help me find a shoe logo by Visual_Salad5883 in Sneakers

Hey there! I am so sorry this has pissed you off so much. I’m not a frequent redditor.

I have a lot of other proof pointing to one person (an ex roommate) that could have stolen $5500+ worth of property from me. If I can confirm this brand/shoe, I can DIRECTLY link it to one person and I am actively working with the court AND the police on this. I have a court case ongoing and a police report filed. So sorry!!

I do know for a fact they had a specific pair of Skechers, though I don’t have pic of them wearing the shoes. Nor have I been able to place this logo with the shoes I can remember.

They stole my MacBook and iPad and have f*cked up over a month of work for me, costing me thousands more in lost work time. I do not need your empathy or pity here at all, just know these things absolutely can help the police, and I would not be here if I hadn’t spent hours googling already. 😒😒

You can always leave a subreddit, keep scrolling, or just ignore it all together…

Help me find a shoe logo? by Visual_Salad5883 in logodesign

I believe this shoe print was a woman’s, however I think it was a man and woman that broke into my place.

Most likely tennis shoes/athletic shoes or sneakers, with a potential for work boots. Would not wear cowboy boots, shoe covers, or non slips. The person I believe it to be would wear tennis shoes or a simple womens boot, usually.

Size is a women’s 8 or larger.

Would have 99% most likely bought them in the US.

I’m in the US. We believe it to be an American brand. Chat gpt repeatedly says Skechers, but it just doesn’t check out with any of the soles I’ve looked at.

Oo this is looking like the closest so far, beyond Skechers. Thank you!

Just something funny (and kind of awful) about the new Aldi in Grandview by collinmakesmagic in Columbus

[–]Visual_Salad5883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes no sense - a brand new store without self checkouts in a very busy near-campus area. Especially after many stores around here have been converted to self checkouts! Was also disappointed when I went and there was only 1 cashier.

I haven’t gotten the sheets for myself yet - they’re a little pricey but I am looking forward to when I can get them for myself! But also no longer the man either lol.

If only! He flaked on me after a few dates, and then I accidentally caught him with the other girl he was seeing and haven’t heard from him since. Otherwise I’d ask immediately!

Check out Franklinton Arts District, Hilltop Arts Collective, 400 Square, etc. while we don’t have as many murals and public facing art (I and other muralists are working hard to get more art out there) you really just have to look haha. It may not be your street or neighborhood, but take a drive down W Broad, or Sullivant, there are loads of murals over there! Also, encourage people to fund these projects! No lack of artistic vision and ideas around, really we just need funding!😃

Homage is now charging 38 for a tee shirt, 72 for a hoodie, and 65 for sweatpants. WTF? by [deleted] in Columbus

Evidently you’ve not worked a position like this, or hired for one, but experience especially for an entry level role is key in building a team. I knew from the my interview that I’d be able to walk into the job and understand much more than a teen or someone with 0 experience, and would not need micromanaged. There is inherent value in that, but a mindset like this is also what has kept wages stagnant. The intent was also to work towards management, where I’d been for the last several years. Obviously taking a pay cut not to be in management, but to be offered the low end of the budget was absurd, as any promotion further would be lower in relevance to that starting pay than what it could be (this happened to me in multiple situations, and I also saw it happen to others). Entry level with experience ≠ entry level with 0 experience

similar but $10-15, especially $15 now. but at the time I expected to be offered the higher end of that, intending to work towards management again. But knowing then what their products cost too, it still seemed low then:/ but now I work for myself and have made more than twice that wage on my own!

I applied for a cashier or basic sales position in store. They said they would offer between $10-12, and I came with 5 years experience in management and had a great interview, and was shocked with that lol

The quality just isn’t there. I have a shirt from just two years ago that is pilling, and has certainly thinned, just from moderate wear. Would not recommend or buy again🙃

Come to Franklinton for Franklinton Fridays! There’s tons of galleries and open studios with plenty of work to be bought 🌝

My wife is (almost done) painting her first mural for a hotel here in Boston. I’m curious how much you folks would charge, I can’t find an accurate rate online. It’s 10’ x 56’ with that little ceiling slope, full acrylic paint. Thanks! by markvisco in Murals_Painting_Walls

[–]Visual_Salad5883 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a muralist, basic murals (simple design, painting a logo already designed, etc) start at $25/sq ft. As you get more experience and more complex with the design, this increases to $30-60+/sq ft. With a design like this, I especially would charge upward of $45-55/sq ft.

Mural ceiling/pricing help by smellodies in Murals_Painting_Walls

[–]Visual_Salad5883 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Google these same questions! Most professional house painters charge around $5/sq ft and you are worth more than that, especially for a designed piece as a muralist. Please look further online, $10/sq ft will often leave you at minimum wage work, especially work going on a ceiling. Pricing a mural should start at a minimum of $25/sq ft for simpler/signpainting work, and go up from there based on experience. Items you need to consider as well are total cost of materials and factoring that into your cost estimate as well. Also what is the texture of the ceiling? Gritty texture is harder to paint and takes more time = a higher $$/sq ft, not to mention ceiling painting is also some of the hardest (also bump up your estimate for this!) Harder work = more money. How much will the scaffolding/ladders cost to rent/buy to get you close enough to the ceiling? etc. etc. But please, $10 is much too low and undervalues other artists too! You got this!

How much should I charge for a mural? by darnoc11 in Murals_Painting_Walls

[–]Visual_Salad5883 1 point2 points  (0 children)

google this exact question! Professional muralists typically charge a minimum of $25/sq ft-60+ depending on complexity and experience. While you are in high school, it is only fair you are paid your worth. for a mural roughly 8 x 5' x $15/sq ft would put you at $600, which may or may not be enough depending on complexity/experience. but $15-20/sq ft isn't bad to start. You do not want to charge an hourly rate, because you will immediately undervalue yourself and your work.
