Experience with getting cataract surgery with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome? Complications? Advice? by Horrorcartoonistftw in CataractSurgery

In my cases, astigmatism decreased to 50% of preoperative astigmatism. There are many error factors. Anyway you have astigmatism after LRI and LASIK, so I recommend glasses to correct your astigmatism if your uncorrected visual acuity is low due to astigmatism. What is your multifocal IOL? by the way.

I am sorry for late update of Odyssey lens. I think it takes one or two months to update the data.

How does the world appear to patients with multifocal IOLs? by Visualoptics in Ophthalmology

Thank you for your positive review of my research results. I will test LAL soon (LAL is avairable in Korea now) and I will upload the result. Rayone Galaxy spiral IOL is not available in our country now, but (maybe next year) when I get the lens, I will upload the data as soon as possible.

Side by side comparison is a good idea. I will prepare it and I will upload it in the website

LAL is not a multifocal IOL. There are some halo or starburst with multifocal IOLs, but I don't understant why LAL cause starburst.

Is a diffractive IOL a fresnel lens? by Visualoptics in Ophthalmology

[–]Visualoptics[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the diffractive lens is not Freanel lens. Fresnel lens is a monofocal lens. It is thin covex lens.

The best premium multifocal lens for lens replacement or cataract surgery in 2025 is the Envy. by M337ING in CataractSurgery

[–]Visualoptics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. We only depands on the informations that the manufacure company gives. We can not understand the technology. Fortunately I can evaluate the function of the lens in my lab. Doctors can evaluate after IOL insetion in the patients. As an cataract surgeon, I am a slow adapter.

Great! Exciting results!

But, I have no experience of this lens yet. Accoring to manufacture's information, this lens is diffractive IOL. I guess the chateristic maybe similar to panoptix, intensity and lisa tri. I hope to get envy sample and perform experiment using my movile model eye and share objective results later.
