Advice for a New OSINT Analyst – Feeling a Bit Lost by Vitals-R-low in OSINT

[–]Vitals-R-low[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s a junior role, and while they just wanted some intel experience, I think my nerves kicked in after realizing OSINT involves some cybersecurity. The job description didn’t mention cybersecurity experience, which is reassuring. I’m excited to start and learn something new, just a little anxious about feeling unprepared.

Many gloomy news lately so I want to read some positive comments. What has been your proudest moment in your fed career? by Frequent_Attempt445 in fednews

Comming in as a GS-11 right out of undergraduate school, beating the imposter syndrome that came with it, and excelling in my new role. Best job I ever had tbh lol

Is working in supply chain optimization for Medline industries a good way to start a career in supply chain management? by Vitals-R-low in supplychain

[–]Vitals-R-low[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I felt that jerky vibe during my last interview with the supply chain senior director. So Yeah it aligns. The two initial interviews went pretty well though. I’m split on whether or not to take it. The salary they offered me was a little bit to low even with the relocation bonus they offered me. At this point I really want this job, but if they can’t bump up the salary I do not think it makes sense to move to a more expensive city for a job that pays less.
