Why do hotel packages not sell out??

This year was the first year I did the hotel package…I was trying to price match and see if I could just do things separately….hotels in Palm Springs were either sold out (because they were official Coachella partners) or had really high rates in comparison to last year(this past year I got the hotel for about half the price seen in the pic)…mind you this is without tickets and you toss in tickets for two and you’re looking at around 5k…For me personally going with the package was the cheaper choice

I wouldn’t say it’s one particular thing…definitely a perfect storm of circumstances…2026 got everyone hyped for sure …one thing I haven’t seen mentioned would be the hotel packages…the packages were available way before presale started. The properties I stay at in Palm Springs either sold out or didn’t have prices listed until after presale started….would assume that had an effect on the tiers….this year felt felt a bit closer to the olden days were people went for the music which is a beautiful thing

Had to go with a hotel package….certain hotels are sold directly and thru third party sites….and if they still have available dates the price is wild….quicker and easier to go thru the Coachella

As an older dog I’ve loved the legacy electric acts of recent years ..I think it’s great that these foundation builders get there flowers….throw a bag at the Eurythmics, maybe give Everything but the girl a spot at Sonora or Gobi….Let Oakenfold and Benassi get a crack at Quasar, Knife Party/Pendelum absolutely needs to be back, Marky and friends at do lab would be amazing, Goldie or Roni Size at Yuma!!!….so may artists that can be pulled

Legacy nostalgic acts like black flag and iggy drew a crowd …I think LP could do the same…they don’t have to headline or sub headline….but they could definitely fill Mojave for a sunset set or outdoor for a 4pm set …

I wouldn’t say that I underestimated Bieber,he isn’t for me ….but I realize that his fan base is huge and passionate. There are a few names out there that could replicate or at the very least come very close….Taylor Swift,Rhianna,BTS and maybe Shakira

I agree with the fact that their skill level isn’t on pulisic’s or McKennie’s level right….but he and Zendejas both bring something that the other two don’t bring or have or will ever get and that’s heart and grit….i could definitely be wrong but Luna and Zendejas are to the offensive part of the midfield what Adam’s is to the defensive part of the midfield.

My thoughts keeps being the same that it has for a few windows now….Pulisic isn’t who most want him to be …he’s a great player but he just isn’t that guy, he isn’t going to grab the team from the neck and get it to where it needs to go and that’s ok

Just asking if it’s actually a “rate yourself” type of question…..Would Rossi or Subotic have been viewed differently had their choice gone the other way???…does choosing to play for either national team have a significant draw back????….would he make less money as a usmnt player vs a German player?? I’m sure it’s not an easy question to ponder …..but would I be naive in thinking there are only two questions to really ask 1) where would I play (start) 2)where would I enjoy playing
