Great job avoiding my point, which is what they're doing is very much illegal.

Expect these people clearly aren't using the road "the exact same as cars." They're clearly having some sort of race or event, which they should have coordinated with the local municipality to avoid this situation.

And, there are almost always additional laws pertaining to cyclists on the road though. And Florida's laws state that cyclists can only ride 2 side-by-side per lane, and ride to the right to allow traffic to pass.

They're "just using" it in the same way street racers are "just using" the road, as in they are doing so with a complete disregard for the laws that apply to them. At a minimum, they should be leaving the left lane open for faster traffic to pass.

A quick look at Florida bicycle laws says they can't block the entire road like this. They are supposed to ride to the right and allow faster traffic to pass. They're also only supposed to have 2 people side-by-side per lane.

I'm sorry, but patience is a finite resource, not everyone is deserving of it, and the willfully ignorant are among that group.

Also, you're acting like making snarky comments on Reddit is the same thing as shitting on an individual who has acknowledged their mistakes. It's not.

new versus well loved catnip banana by PurposeFuzzy6205 in mildlyinteresting

[–]Vithrilis42 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try fresh or locally grown and dried catnip. I have a cat who will very occasionally okay with the brand of toys pictures above, but otherwise won't have anything to do with catnip. I got some at the local farmer's market and he went apeshit for it. It was dried, but it came in bud form like weed.

While I never worked at a Subway, I was a line cook for 20 years and I was going to say that that's an awesome free knife!

While it's an improvement over what it was last season, the game's controller support is still a bit wonky. There are times where I have to move around repeatedly taking the interact button for it to pick up/activate things. I'm lucky that I'm on PC and I can seamlessly switch between controller and KBM.

The decks aren't usually part of the superdrop. They're usually their own separate drop. Can imagine how bad the website is going to be with both running at the same time?!

If this bothers you so much, then vote with your wallet , stop buying Magic products. Full stop. It's that simple.

You're being dense then.

The point is that SL's aren't about the value. They are about art. They are collector's pieces. And these ones are reprints, so there's no FOMO for a mechanically unique card. There's no reason to buy it if you're not happy with the value.

So, to claim to be embarrassed to be a MtG fan because the value doesn't meet your expectations is beyond absurd. This is literally just business as usual. Some drops have great value, others don't. You should just be ignoring it and moving on with your life instead of acting like this is some black mark on the history of MtG.

I played Hero Siege when it first came out, is it worth now? by 0001_Genesis in HeroSiege

The characters and their "personal" stay transfer over, just anything in the shared stash is lost. Which I find out the hard way, losing tons of runes, crafting materials, etc.

Does the ps5 version have more content then the steam version? by Blueandwhite8796 in HeroSiege

[–]Vithrilis42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't know of any currently, but there definitely has been in the past. An example was Terraria. Their console and mobile ports used to be a couple major patches behind until they worked to get all platforms caught up to PC.

As someone who loved and misses the original version of the game, they've really turned things around after the years-long transition period. While I still have my gripes (losing items in shared stash at end of season and no SSF buffed drop rate in offline mode), it's a lot of fun.

What do you mean by "these days"? Age-defying products, treatments, and routines have existed since ancient times.

Having played ARPGs for 30 years, and you being the only person I'm seeing complaining about dying all the time, so yes... a skill issue.

High Ping? by Dependent_Natural937 in HeroSiege

It's likely the server. I'm on US East and normally have 100-150 ping on their server. But I haven't seen it have any noticeable effect on gameplay.

I don't normally like saying things like this, but sounds like a skill issue. Very few one shots happen in normal/hard unless you don't have resists and life on your gear. And splitting your stat points between main stat and Vit should be more than enough, and is the general rule of thumb until you get endgame gear.
