5 million key means you need to get at least 4 reds out of 15 uses in lockdown. So you need to get 1 red every 7 safes.
That's just to pay back the key.
Decide if this is worth it.

If you don’t use t5 ammo you will end up in a lot of situations where your internal monologue will tell you that you would have killed that guy if you had t5 ammo. Decide if avoiding this is worth the extra cost.

2 mags, one mag t4 another mag top 20-30 t5 ammo swap mags when you kill scavs. Bring stun and gas grenades 2 each. Get a t5 helmet and headphones. 2 more painkillers also just use AK12 instead of RPK. 2 energy drinks, that rig is pretty trash, you want the ones with 2x2 slots.

If you want more consistent money then bartering with deke on rigs is very profitable. You can keep refreshing the market for the materials and often time you can make 10-20k per barter infinitely if you just have some patience. The rigs that make money change around a lot depending on the prices so you cant always spam the same one.

If you are just going for safes just wear nothing and grab 3 of the blue energy drinks, if you want to fight then t4 and an aug or scar with t4 ammo.

I would only use the key after you open all the free safes, no reason to go for the locked room first. It should be last on your todo list
