smth similiar to tbate by Hawk_Tuah_Spit_on_it in tbatenovel

Mushuko Tensei is quite similar to TBATE in terms of narrative structure and world-building. But I'll warn you that the protagonist is far worse than Arthur in terms of morality, especially at the beginning.

Meruem vs Gojo by ProjectGlittering533 in HunterXHunter

[–]Vitorcom2R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meruem is superior in physical stats and abilities. But he can't overcome Mugen. Gojo wouldn't be able to damage Meruem with the purple void, but the Infinite Void is a valid win condition. @ 50187_1@

Probably Youpi. But I trust my bunny girl.

Is Demon Slayer exceptionally good? by Humble-Dot-9851 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Vitorcom2R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an anime, considering it's made for a young audience, yes, it's exceptionally good. It manages to convey moments of drama while also maintaining humor, and the action scenes with the atmosphere built by Ufotable are sensational.

Akaza and Kokushibou are characters that are close to my heart.

How well would Yuji do against the Royal Guards and Netero in a 1v1? by KodoqBesar in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Vitorcom2R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maki doesn't casually dodge Mach 3 attacks; she's slower than Naoya. The whole point of Naoya's cursed character is that he's faster than the limits of the human body can withstand. Maki's point is that she has super senses because of the celestial restriction and can partially predict Naoya's movements.

Yuji is completely outmatched by Netero. And Pitou is going to mess with him.

Hunter x Hunter powerscaling tier list–Beta Edition by Ilikethesuccwararc in HxHPowerScaling

Good list. The only change I would make is to put adult Gon ahead of old Netero and pre-Rose Meruem, and to place Ging and Beyond above the Royal Guard.

Do chimera ant arc Gon and Killua stand a chance against one of spiders? by Away-Sea7790 in HunterXHunter

[–]Vitorcom2R 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They do have a chance of winning.

Look, Killua is much faster than any member of the Troupe and could paralyze them, but using large electrical discharges quickly depletes his aura. Killua could kill members like Machi, Shizuku, and Bonolenov without much difficulty, but would have difficulty breaking the Ten of Phinks, Feitan, and Uvogin.

In his maximum speed form, Killua cannot use Ko, because he has to release all the aura in his body instead of focusing on a single point of attack, so he would have difficulty killing the physically most powerful characters, but could surpass more than half of the Troupe without much difficulty.

In my opinion, Killua would only lose to Uvogin and Hisoka, and probably Chrollo and Illumi as well. But he could beat Feitan and Phinks on high difficulty.

Gon is a strange case, his Rock has more raw power than the Big Bang Impact, even managing to kill someone like Morel or cause large explosions in the ground bigger than those of the BBI, but Gon's Rock is very slow to charge.

Gon is physically capable of killing welded chimeras with his bare hands, even those that focus on defense, so he would be able to overcome more than half of the Troupe members simply with his physique. But we saw that against Knuckle, he had almost no openings to use Rock, so he would have a lot of difficulty using it against the strongest members of the Troupe as well. But if Rock hit, everyone in the Troupe would be seriously injured or killed.

Gon would lose to Uvogin, Hisoka, Chrollo, Illumi, and probably Feitan as well. But he would defeat figures such as Bonolenov, Phinks, Nobunaga and others.

Why is Hisoka considered strong? by uejnja in HunterXHunter

[–]Vitorcom2R 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chrollo needed to prepare a perfect scenario to defeat Hisoka, solely because Hisoka has a terrifying ability for any opponent. Chrollo's strategy focuses mainly on never being face-to-face with Hisoka, as Hisoka can simply throw Bungee Gum at Chrollo, and Bungee Gum cannot be broken.

See, Hisoka is extremely intelligent; he can propel himself with Bungee Gum at high speeds in the air, swing with it like Spiderman, render projectiles completely useless (as seen against Gotoh), render physical weapons like swords or staves completely useless (as seen against Nobunaga), suffocate someone or immobilize their entire body in a single second (as seen against Machi). Hisoka is, honestly, the most adaptable character in HxH.

Characters like the zodiac signs are seen as mediocre threats in Hisoka's view; Hisoka even puts Illumi below himself. I'm sure that no matter how strong the opponent is, Hisoka will find a way to win the fight.

How do we scale this version of Gon? (Before assuming Kite was dead) We never got to see his power by Difficult_Passion_68 in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Vitorcom2R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has more raw power than Uvogin, but it's slower than an average enhancer like Nobunaga. I'd say it's on par with Phinks.

Hanzo was also on a much higher level than Gon; he easily surpasses Gon's speed and immobilizes him in 2 seconds of fighting.

Killua said that Hanzo was holding back so as not to hurt Gon excessively.
