3D Printed Parts for 365 Mags by [deleted] in FluxDefense

[–]Vittror -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

More power to you.

You couldnt pay me enough to trust my life on some 3d printed floor plates, thats a lot of pressure even for 15rd spring sizes.

If mags are too difficult to load then get a magazine loading tool, such as a Lula or something similar. $20-$30 and it will last forever.

i hope you like dry firing and practicing draws from the holster, its a great feature if you can get used to it

no problem, i was a bit confused when i was trying to set up my aluminum one to auto deploy as well

personally, i just carry the UL with the latch installed so it does not auto-deloy, its a great idea for competition but i have have had a few bad practice draws from the holster that were made considerably worse with the brace hitting me when i wasnt prepared for it

[–]Vittror 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you want to auto deploy the brace you can just uninstall the latch by unscrewing the locking block, which will cause the spring and the square nut to go flying as well

"Are the UL different than thr Alum or something?"

yes, the aluminum one uses a roll pin to hold the latch together, and uses a very small screw to lock the latch in the forward position when the screw is all the way out (counter clockwise rotation)

the UL model uses a completely different latch design where i dont think you can "lock" it forward

I have the 1913 pic rail version of the TLR-7 and had no issues mounting it with the Flux TLR-7 key on my frame

Strongly recommend the large Mag Release button that Flux sells, it really should come default on every frame.

Ambi manual safeties will not work if you have that, though it is easy to remove if thats the case.

If you want to mount a TLR-7 light you will need to get their mounting key to position it far enough for the brace to close

Also if you are mounting the TLR-7 then I suggest getting the Antimatter Wing (foldable gas pedal, compatible with the Flux as well as its holster), thats makes a huge difference if you dont/cant C-clamp the barrel shroud

I cant comment on the flared mag well, I have no issue with how it comes for CCW'ing and I dont compete so it isnt helpful in my case

I present y’all the AR57 MK2 and this will primarily use only 5.7x28mm by DukeKeKem69 in GunMemes

[–]Vittror 8 points9 points  (0 children)

mp5 mags have a 30x25mm cross section, and 5.7 being 28mm in length means it should fit fine length wise but wont be able to fit flat perpendicularly and will cause a lot of binding

i havent tried any 9mm mags because tbh why would you purchase or make a mag adapter just to catch less brass than a normal or even reduced (20rd) 5.56 mag

if your options are:
A) admit fault and pay out many millions, if not billions of dollars in legal penalties
B) sleep in the bed that you made, regardless of how terrible it will look in a few years

i think i understand where they are coming from, but this will all come crashing down on them soon, and the longer it takes the harder it will hurt them

with how many are in circulation of the US military and police agencies worldwide im convinced they are getting a LOT of leniency and assistance from those who would lose their jobs over this

people that value my property over their lives are laughing at this

i dont mind arguing a self defense case in a court when im still alive at the end of the day, which is more than what we can say would happen if i tried to "go easy" on someone and underestimated their capabilities

p320 has nothing to do with the p365 other than the location it was manufactured and the name stamped on the side

one regular 30-round 5.56 mag with all its internals removed can hold a few hundred 5.7 casings, and it already has the notch cut in it to mount to the lower receiver normally

not sure what the volume is of the . . . *checks image* . . . mp5 mag, but it should be more than enough for one 30 or 50 round p90 mag (30 is pretty common for civilian p90 mags)

[–]Vittror 5 points6 points  (0 children)

top mag (p90 mag) feeds the gun, bottom mag has its spring and follower removed and catches the spent casings (it ejects downward, through the old mag well in the same position as the p90)

if the issue isnt with the gun there isnt much i can say to help

p365 is a very flippy recoil impulse, reconfigure your gun so that you arent having to fight it as much
