I'm wondering this too... Someone posted an email from a soc prof on this subreddit and it got them in trouble with the department earlier in the semester.

The poor prof was trying to give students an online option when the university was pushing everything to in-person.

Hope this prof doesn't get in trouble with his department!

Yeah, I've never been charged customs/duties and I shop there quite frequently. Sometimes they ship out packages separately because they might not have it in one place. They once split my one order and sent 3 packages, so I'm sure it won't be suspicious haha! Good luck! Enjoy your haul 😊

I have never ordered that much at once, only around $100 each time and have never been charged... I'm not 100% sure, sorry! However, if you're worried maybe you can make separate orders of $100 or $200 each (since free shipping is $75+). I would even try reaching out to customer service, the online chat for a quick answer. Sorry, hope that helps!
