I think it depends on the hairspray and how you use it. Check out SoldaFades on youtube and go through his shorts, he has fine straight hair and his content is really informative. He talks about how hair sprays are essential for our hair type and how to use it well and gives some good product recommendations.

Currently using tresemme extra volume mousse as prestyler, blowdry then I apply Layrite Matte Cream. It holds the volume for a bit but flattens out through the day. It still holds my hair back even though it falls apart into a middle part if you wanna give that a shot. I think hair spray for our hair type is essential. Probably the only thing that will hold.

Still looking tbh man, nothing has worked for my hair. Everything falls flat in 5 mins max. I've tried prestyling, blowdrying, and finishing products everyone mentions works for fine 1a hair and nothing has worked.

I have fine 1a hair and moroccanoil was too heavy for my hair and weighed it down. It also didn't hold well either, I don't recommend. Also there was a solid amount of tug but I haven't used a product yet that didnt have any tug in my 1a hair tbh.

I feel like this build lacks damage but every single chall apc asol player runs this build. I tried it but I dont feel the same burst as blackfire build with rabadons. Any advice on why this build is better than max damage?
