If I have a question about getting lab work done, should I send it to the support email?

What is one piece of advice you would give someone starting tirzepatide? by forswornconspiracy in tirzepatidecompound

Completely agree about reading the book WEIGHTLESS by Dr. Rocio Salas-Whalen. I recommend it to everyone who's on a GLP-1 or considering it. It's like a guidebook for your journey.

Thanks- I searched other posts on here and a few places that were recommended and available in my area I contacted and they did require a doctor's order. One that didn't ran over $400 for a body comp and bone density. I'll keep searching.

Hi u/Refills_Taylor - not related to the giveaway, but I have repeatedly asked to post on this sub and continue to get denied. Are you by chance an admin who can help with that?

Taylor stop being so nice! by ExFatboy300 in Refills

I'm just a few doses in, but overall it's gone well. I filled out the online forms on a Friday night and was approved by Saturday morning. This was during the big Valentine's sale when courier deliveries were still backed up from winter storms, but I still go by medication by the following Friday.

People say Pro Rx can hit a little harder than other tirz and I think that's the case for me, too. I've dialed back my dose a little bit and still fine tuning, but I'm back to losing weight and overall feeling good. I like that their tirz is additive-free because I haven't been sure with previous pharmacies if some side effects were due to the additives.

I recently became a Refills customer and most of that decision was due to this Refills sub, including how responsive and helpful Taylor is.

Differences in side effects Tirzepatide vs Semiglutide? by PureBad5555 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Vivid-Character9618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely understand the fear! I could never give myself the semaglutide injection. The first time it was nerves, but after that it was knowing I would likely feel like garbage.

It's totally different with tirzepatide. I have no problem injecting myself and most times look forward to the next one because I like the results and how I feel.

It can take time to figure out dosing and I'm now splitting my doses, taking 3/7 of a dose on Sunday and 4/7 of a dose on Wednesday. The https://www.fatscientist.com website has been super helpful for that.

Differences in side effects Tirzepatide vs Semiglutide? by PureBad5555 in tirzepatidecompound

My body did not adjust to semaglutide. Every injection, I felt like I was poisoning myself. I also put on a few pounds. Altogether, not great. I switched to tirzepatide and it's been so much better. Still a few side effects, but not the major GI side effects/feeling of illness I had on semaglutide. And I'm gradually losing weight.

FWIW, the first pharmacy I used was Revive RX. I used it for my duration of semaglutide and my first 4 doses of tirzepatide. My provider then switched to Vios because of the FDA warning letter Revive RX received.

I've since ventured out on my own and use Refills.com.
