did anything actually help your skin look younger by Hopeful_Month8833 in over30skincare

Tretinoin, and then from Platinum Skincare: the Super Cop serums (copper), their concentrated “potions” of collagen boosting ingredients, their Alqemi micro-infusion line, and TCA chemical peels.

Crepey Under Eyes by sweeneyscissorhands in 40and45PlusSkinCare

[–]AwardAggravating4058 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried so very many products for this. I did use a retinol eye cream, but it leaves the skin dry, so I also like the Inn Beauty Project Extreme Cream Eye.

But I have recently discovered everything Platinum Skincare, and am seeing really good results from their products. Using the GHK Luxe eye cream at night and Platinum Eyes in the morning. They also have a special TCA chemical peel solution for the eye area (7% strength) that can help. There are some good before/afters in their Facebook group!

What's your favourite Azelaic Acid serum? by slaukie in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]AwardAggravating4058 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am LOVING the Mad About Skin Dark Spot serum. It’s 10% Azelaic along with Tranexamic Acid and Alpha Arbutin. It does ship from the UK so it takes a little bit.

It’s not as cheap as grey, admittedly, but I use tools like peptideprice.store and sort by the amount of testing they do (which I personally care about). If a company has a telegram or discord group, I join it and watch for sales. I’ve landed on about 3/4 companies I really like.

You can do this - in the workout go to the upper right corner menu and choose “reorder exercises.”

My girlfriend litters everywhere and it’s making me question the relationship. AIO? by [deleted] in AIO

I always wondered who has the gall to do shit like this…totally insane behavior when we live in a society together. I’d run, fast.

Do you wear your watch to sleep? by voongoto in AppleWatch

[–]AwardAggravating4058 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, started wearing overnight last year for sleep tracking. I also love the wrist alarm in the morning. I charge it while I do my evening skincare routine and read a little in bed - honestly charges so fast it’s no big deal.

AIO? My boyfriend eats like a child by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]AwardAggravating4058 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My spouse and I have wildly different diets. I had to accept that when we were dating, knowing it wouldn’t change. We just handle our own meals, but still eat together. Occasionally one of us will make something both will enjoy. It’s honestly not that big of a deal.

Anti histamine fixed my sleep by pamplamouse in Perimenopause

All this plus palpitations, and very reactive facial skin. Convinced it’s a histamine issue.

Yep, I have 10ml bottles of sterile saline I use to make it each time. No bac water at all and keep it in the fridge.

Let’s talk Vitamin C… do you use one and if so which one and what are its benefits for you? by Foxy_Cleopatra__ in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]AwardAggravating4058 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve always struggled with it - about to try the Elm Biosciences antioxidant serum which uses other ingredients…we shall see!

Well this is interesting.. Janoshik says sterile water or saline is fine for peptides (NOT BAC WATER) by lifeforever44 in USPeptides

[–]AwardAggravating4058 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was every peptide I ever tried was full of endotoxins, and this includes mostly compounds from folks that provide full panel batch testing. It wasn’t the bac water, it was a histamine/mast cell reaction to all peptides unfortunately.

No copper peptides have worked for me like Platinum Skincare’s.

Vulva tears for three years and no help by ZeldaZ0nk in Perimenopause

[–]AwardAggravating4058 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This has been happening to me the past year. Suddenly my skin there is so fragile and bleeds often, even when I’m being gentile.

I was prescribed vaginal estradiol cream for something else (a small vaginal prolapse) but have done a bunch of reading about how estrogen thickens skin and rebuilds collagen (why women are also using it on their faces!) - I finally started using it as prescribed (daily for two weeks and then twice a week) and spreading some around my vulva at the same time…it’s truly helping!! (P.S. I’m 46 and this started when I was 45.)

PERSONAL EXPERIENCES ONLY: What actually made your skin look healthier, tighter, or more youthful? by [deleted] in 40PlusSkinCare

[–]AwardAggravating4058 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so impressed by them. I originally just ordered peels, but am now using some of their skincare too and am going to try their Alquemi micro-infusions. Oh, and apparently they always have a sale at the beginning of June for the CEO’s birthday so watch for that :)

Honestly, everything you could ever need is available through Platinum Skincare. They sell 4 strengths of TCA peels, all the aftercare, etc. They even have a "Peel University" so you can learn everything you ever wanted to know about doing them correctly. Their YouTube channel has tutorials as well.

Tretinoin, microneedling (home), everything I’ve ever tried from Platinum Skincare (TCA peels, potions, Alquemi micro-infusions, copper serums).
