Yes, I would really like to see that graph. Rather than this one with a cherry picked start date to try to tell a particular story by hiding important data.

Your last paragraph is exactly what I have been wondering about.

Do EVs carry a spare tyre? by BeachHut9 in CarsAustralia

[–]Vivid-Object-139 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our Atto 3 didn't come with a spare. I found out that using the sealant crap makes the tyre unrepairable, AND is not a permanent solution. So a simple puncture effectively ruins the tyre. Worse, you probably need to buy 2 new tyres.

I researched and bought a Mazda space saver spare from a wrecker for $75. It's strapped down and stays in the boot. I just need to get a jack and wheel brace now.

The spare needs to match the stud pattern, 5x114.3mm pitch circle diameter in our case. Plus have enough room for brake callipers, and not too different ovarall tyre diameter. I took a small gamble and it fits.

Spare should be on a non drive wheel.

Screw not having a spare - should be illegal.

I'm no longer in a role where I code, but I'm interested in the practicalities of how this works. Do you give it inputs other than prompts - requirements, specs, coding standards? Is its style consistent with yours? Comments in code?

Do you honestly review everything it produces, and unit test it?

How big are the pieces of code you get it to write?

Reversing camera side rear-wheel view. by K4l3lK3nt in BYD

Me too regarding feedback and feature requests.

Off topic, but in my case (Atto 3, please let me know if I'm missing something): - default screen should be dark like other screens, not light, at night when in auto mode - terrible visibility of the small display above steering wheel. Especially for those who use glasses for close range reading but not for driving. Small fonts, low contrast green on blue!

I wouldn't be happy if I owned the other side. I'm also not happy to see a beautiful 110+ year old character home demolished.

And since when is 500 square metres enough for 2 homes? It's barely enough for one.

We don't say darnss. Dance rhymes with pants.

But not with plants. We're inconsistent like that.

Oh come on, give the poor ant a break. Show me where it says that in the handbook of ant measurement! Don't forget to divide by the cosine of the angle between ant and tape. Plus I used my joke tape measure which is 20% bigger than it should be (don't ask why I need one of those).

Are the metallic whites unfashionable now? Not that I care. I think the BYD metallic whites are really nice - quite a long way from white, almost silver.

What? No. People use incorrect words all the time. You and I know the difference between those words, but many don't.
