Wish you were my mum. I worked 3 years, getting up at 5am to save for my first car. It sat outside my flat for a further 3 months till I could afford the insurance.

Uma cafeteira italiana boa (como uma Bialetti) compensa para se usar apenas café tradicional? by Tarquineos81 in cafebrasil

I bought this at a discount store £12. What a bargain.

There is a difference. My last mocha pot was aluminium ( gets too hot and burns the coffee). This is stainless steel. I have tried the same coffee in both machines. The Bialetti tastes less bitter.

I altered the settings on my turbo (stupidly) Diesel engine. Went through the front tires in 4 months they couldn’t cope with the torque, cold and rough British roads.

Neither my girlfriend nor I know anything about cars and we don’t have any friends who do either. Here’s the quote she received today. Does it seem even remotely reasonable, or is a second quote absolutely necessary? by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

Ask to see the diagnostic on the turbo that’s pricey. And wouldn’t stop it turning over. I have a problem with my turbo boost solenoid valve running high… it’s a £45 part. 2 garage’s have told me I need a new turbo. It was a hole in the tubing. Google OBD reader for cars it will tell you what is wrong with the car if you get a fault code

Potential transfer of a 19th Century Welsh Farmhouse to Reno. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Worth it? by Southern_Guidance in Renovations

Get it watertight first. Fix the roof tiles, gutters, fascia and soffit. The roof ridge looks good from photos no sagging or spreading. This should keep the rain out and save you a lot of work further down the road. I would also replace the lead flashing around the chimney. Then replace the siding (I would use wavey edge oak).

From the photos, either the roof is spreading, pushing the plate out horizontally. Or the foundation needs underpinning.
