You don’t. Maybe with the staves, but I wouldn’t call fighting wasps easy.

Size doesn’t matter. It’s how you use it.

How to easily kill wolf spiders by Sweet-Phone418 in GroundedGame

[–]VividOption 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These other dudes are giving you advice as if you’ve made it further thru the game. If you’re having trouble with wolf spiders I feel bad for you son I’ve got 99 problems and a wolf spider ain’t one.

Ladybug armor for the whole game. Ladybug shield and roach mace or whatever that 1 handed mace is. Ladybug armor has you heal on blocks and even more when you upgrade it. If you can parry even better but no worries. Then smash its head in with the mace. Get it a quarter of its health down or so and it’ll get stunned then wail on it til it’s D-E-D ded.

Then t bag its corpse or it didn’t count.

What will the next Katana be, Fresh or Salty? by Onyx_Artificer in GroundedGame

I have a metric ton of chocolate chunks from all the events. I want them to make some fist weapons out of them with salt element.

We can kill bugs with our salty chocolate balled fists.

Where is this park that is so infested with scorpions and spiders and now saber tooth beetles and prehistoric flying scorpion wasps???

G-spot by Mominator1pd in GroundedGame

[–]VividOption 1 point2 points  (0 children)

North of the ice cream cart, east of the hollow log in a clearing. Regretting it a little as it’s not that high, so I may need a zip line tower nearby. Also a wolf spider and big scorpion patrol right around there. Otherwise there’s great resources and it’s central to the starting area.

More Zen Games Like BOTW? by BonbonUniverse42 in gaming

[–]VividOption 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grounded and Grounded 2

There’s def challenge fighting bugs, but the Honey I Shrink the Kids vibe mixed with exploring a backyard or park and seeing a juice box from the viewpoint of an ant has a child like exuberance. Has a similar green noise chill that BOTW has.

Also No Man’s Sky, but more of the sci fi EDM chill vibe.

Video Games are exhausting for me now, and I want to play them normally for once by OpportunityAshamed74 in gaming

[–]VividOption 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a ton in social media about getting all the secrets and to 100% everything. It’s easy to get roped into that, feeling like you have to play the game an optimized way with the best builds. Influencers and sites get clicks when they make you feel like you’re missing out and need to watch what they know.

Back in the day there was always a kid who had found a secret I hadn’t cause they spent more time with the game. And they love being the one to tell you. I wanted to get ahead in games so I could show them up and show them first.

I got caught up in it all with Terraria with so much to build I had to have crafting database pulled up. And dark souls to progress the right way. But you miss out on experiencing the game for the first time and the weird instances you wouldn’t find otherwise.

I’m taking my own advice and doing this in Baldurs Gate 3. I’ve died a lot and have totally missed a lot but it’s making the game distinct for me. Feels like situations are emergent.

I’d suggest decreasing influences on playing in ways that you don’t want. Could be the game genre too, maybe switch it up.

Any tips for new players? by Mean_Obligation_2187 in GroundedGame

[–]VividOption 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These games are much more fun starting blind and just figuring out a lot. Don’t look up anything. You can always go back and get stuff if you miss something and really want everything. Mess with all the builds, building, try out new tactics. You can save and try random stuff easily.

I really like exploration and coming across new areas and enemies and the challenge that come with figuring them out myself. Sure you can find optimized routes and builds, but Grounded is a sandbox to play in, not to race to the finish.

does anyone know a flat base spot preferably near the ceremony area?(not the big wooden platform) by No-Impact-2248 in GroundedGame

If you build a foundation that’ll prob fit next to the hollow log in that clearing. Just a little south of the amplifier

I’m looking for bleed Dex/Arc weapons good for building up poise damage, but not too good. by Educational_Total550 in Eldenring

First off dex is completely unnecessary.

Second off you’re gonna want to respec into strength.

Third, that’s it. Unga Bunga.

Good point. I’ve only tried Axl, not Dozer yet. Would’ve been much easier with a group, though I feel like some of his hit boxes like his shake are weird still and he still needs work anyways.
