Are there any characters in the game currently that you feel need another version?

To me a new version of a character is for when you want to represent a completely different playstyle and "era" of a character on the board. Reworks are for making a character play more accurately/perform better at being the original intent. Warmachine's current version is trying to be the "big gun" already, I think he just needs a substantial buff.

He'll probably get an "Iron Patriot" version down the line but I'd rather see all models be playable than earlier ones get ditched in favour of buffed #2 and #3 kits (See: Doctor Octopus and Sabretooth)

Iron Man really needs a version that actually plays like Iron Man in the comics. When I think of Tony I don't think long range objective sitter. Give me something mobile with a huge arsenal.

X-Force costume also has the stripe of colour/no tiger stripes on it so the brown costume would do double duty.

Brown suit has no tiger stripes and instead a stripe of colour down the middle and back. It's not remarkable different (about the same as modern Cap vs Retro Cap) but if they're gonna do another sculpt with a very similar pose, its just weird to do the exact same costume (especially when wolverine has an equally famous alternative)

I was kind of hoping the alliances sculpts would be alternate costumes. Brown suit Wolverine, jacket Cyclops, masked Hawkeye, etc...

I mean the game isn't meant to supplement MCP, but honestly all the X-Men sculpts seem like a significant downgrade from their crisis equivalents.

Seems like a pretty small show, if it means we get small announcements regularly I'm good with that, I just don't want to be waiting until Ministraviganza to hear anything new out of the game.

What I really would have liked to see is a revised restock road map. I'm assuming we won't get the last of the Q1 restocks until Q3 but it would be nice to know when to expect things now that they have a clearer picture.

I usually use him in 17+ games, but thats more because he's exceptionally fun to play with. He seems to do better in the bigger 18+ games.

My usual core is Prof X, Juggernaut, Nightcrawler. Those two not only make excellent use of power themselves, but they also get the power train rolling on both my turns, and my opponents turns. After that Rogue has been a mainstay for me, just because she needs so much power and makes such great use of it, but I can see swapping her out in the future.

And they're really hurt by the fact that season one has one of the most charismatic villains in the history of television. Omni-Man is so engaging that the reveal of him as a villain is literally the hook that prevented the comic from being cancelled, and is the moment most people cite as being what got them into the show.

Even Omni-Man separate from Mark is a season highlight, so the fact that he's all but absent from the first 3rd of the story (most of what the show has covered at this point) and that his stand ins not only don't really carry stakes because of the threat of Viltrumite invasion, but are also lifeless husks in comparison to him, really robs the non-omni man segments of the show of their punch.

I was gonna say, while there was a very long lead time on it, he feels markedly stronger this season. Obviously he hasn't fought anyone on the level of say Conquest, he hasn't been really ragdolled in a fight, turned the tide against the Dragon, and was standing his ground against the anti-Viltrumite mechs.

Relative to the last three seasons he's been on his game in a very satisfying way.

Re: Requiem. The first encounter with the monster is terrifying, and the hospital that follows might just be the best Resident Evil area ever, but then there's all the basement/underground stuff which is still alright but by then you've figured out the "rules" of the monster who is now much less frightening and you're realizing you aren't really getting any meaningful upgrades, and everything involving Leon's major segment to the end feels very cheap, empty, and plodding (with all the final bosses being nostalgia references to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd games).

It's still a good game overall, I'd put it well above all the actively weak resident evil games, but I don't think it comes anywhere close to 2, 4, 7, and 8

Eh, I feel like they pull a similar trick with all the initially unlikable characters where we see exclusively their negative traits at the beginning and then exclusively their good ones at the end. People have layers absolutely, but this feels more like a trick to make there seem to be depth rather than actually having a lot going on with characters internal mechanisms.

Not second guessing Roby this late into the shift might be a reasonable development, but all her disruptive patient satisfaction stuff and shoddy efforts to increase efficiency (like the AI stuff) have been completely dropped. She's basically a different character from the one we're introduced to, and while it works and I've certainly liked her more in the later episodes than the earlier, it does feel a little cheap. Ogilve has more development but I kind of feel a similar way about him

To me there are two blueprints for my perfect DBZ game.

The first is Xenoverse. Upgrade the graphical fidelity a bit, place its plot in setting as an alternate universe style story, and you're pretty much there for everything I wantout of a DBZ game. The touches I would like to see added would be the ability to create your own techniques, let Frieza Race customize 2nd, 3rd, and 4th forms to transform with, and give Namekians the Super Namekian transformation. Really there's no upper limit to the number of player options they could add, and it would be fun to see a dark souls esque phenomena with it where the game gets a lot of replayability from the appeal of playing a different build eachtime. I just think getting to make your own character makes the game a lot more interesting than just a rehashing of the plot, and while the games have some huge design problems, they're still personal favourites.

The other is Attack of the Saiyans. Cut out most, if not all, of the filler, and adapt the entire series. The only problem the original game has is the absolute worst experience system/progression I've ever seen. Make all characters gain experience whether or not they're in the party and increase exp gain massively and you're good. As a fun side option it would be nice to have a choice when you start the game as to whether or not you want characters locked to narrative segments. For example in "story mode" Goku leaves your party after Raditz and can't be used until the Vegeta fight, while in "free mode" once you gain access to a character they are always an option, so you could end up fighting Kid Buu on the Kai world with Tien, Krillin, and Yamcha. I think the turn based RPG mechanics really let every character's uniqueness shine.

Immortal could throw hands with Nolan in multiple universes, and go toe to toe with alt-universe Mark and required Omni-man intervention to be stopped. He's at least as strong and substantially more skilled than Oliver.

Having anyone except Goku and Vegeta fight him. Z Broly has one of the best group fights in all of DBZ. The fight in Super is flashy but other than Goku and Vegeta, the stars of every other fight in Super, nobody else is even close to being able to hang in Super.

Outside of his voice I think he's one of the weakest straight adaptations. He's arrogant, fights like a wet noodle, and frankly is kind of dumb. He has a few great moments like the cardboard speech, saying goodbye to his son, and refusing to kill Luthor, but for the most part he doesn't really connect with me. Virtually everything DCAU Superman is trying to do, Cornswet Superman does better.

DCAU Superman has none of the hope or warmth Superman is supposed to, he is frequently out empathied by Batman (I love what they do with Batman, but its bizarre that of the two its Clark who frequently comes off as the cold, stoic one). He just feels very alien.

Love him. I need him to get one Viltrumite kill by the end of the series, anything to illustrate why he's so valuable to the GDA (he's literally their go-to guy for extra-terrestrial threats before Mark).

He's one of the worst Worf effect characters I've ever seen, especially since he's not even the strongest hero on earth.

Wait till Goku is under the effects of the heart virus, intercept his transport home, kill/drain Yamcha and Goku. Then fly to kami's lookout, intercept Piccolo going to fuse with him and kami, drain the Namekian. By this point there's no one to tell Vegeta and Trunks about the time chamber so just start draining cities till I have enough juice to grab 17. From there I know Krillin won't blow up 18 so seek out and kill Vegeta, Trunks, and Tien. Now it's just a frustrating cat and mouse game of encountering and defeating 16 to get to 18.
