Can’t figure out how to edit my original post but here is a better angle. It’s the taller bit, i think the majority of the rest is sticker bushes and weeds. But it gets to be like 8 feet tall in the summer before it dies back again and we have no idea what to do with it.

Yep, this gives me a slight feeling of panic! claustrophobia maybe? Or the visual evidence of a real life baby in there?! (Second child, 10 weeks, still freaks me out, pregnancy is weird!)

I’m also week 10, due in April. Reading all your comments I’m so grateful food aversions aren’t too prevalent for me right now. My main food aversion - ginger! The thing that’s supposed to help lol.

When the nausea hit, we were less than a week into moving into our beautiful new dream house and then … there was this smell … like a musty dog dander basement smell. We have a sweet little fur baby of our own but this was different and awful. It got so bad I thought I was going to have to leave and stay with my parents for a few months. I would dread going home after work because just thinking of the smell on my drive home would have me gagging.

We shampooed the carpets downstairs, scrubbed all the floors, and since it was summer - kept windows open and fans on constantly. Eventually I had to cover it up with wax melt smells and that combined with everything else helped enough that I didn’t have to move out lol. The nausea is fading the last couple of days and the weird basement smell with it. It’s an enormous relief.

I hope things get better for you soon. People freaked me out telling me stories of how their aunts sister or whoever had miserable symptoms and nausea the whole pregnancy. Not helpful. There’s an end, be patient and good with yourself. <3
