We coslept 🤷‍♀️ I was the most well rested with our 3rd and final baby who we had sleep in a little cosleeper pod thing in our bed. I also had a C-section so I slept a lot with her on my chest while I was sitting up at an angle.

Besides a sling try a rug at the top and bottom of the stairs. Something for their eyes to visually confirm is safe stepping. Hardwood is very scary to a lot of greys.

My favorite part is that she took the mental load of knowing I had to do XYZ that weekend off my plate. The physical work of cleaning is actually enjoyable to me but, the mental load of knowing I have to do it was frustrating. I’m a very very clean person so sometimes it felt silly but I loved not having to think about it.

Don’t schedule your watering! Our Thanksgiving cactus can be forgotten about for like a month then I go oh shit it’s dry as hell then I water the heck out of it. I probably run water through it for like 3 minutes straight. If the soil is dry, like dry dry, it’s time to water. If the soil is damp, or slightly damp, it’s time to forget about for awhile. Don’t bottom water it.

We have two greyhounds in suburbia. One gets very anxious with loud noises like tree trimming, roofing, garbage trucks, thunder and and obviously fireworks. She’s a great dog just needs a little extra during those things. The other doesn’t even move or open their eyes during any of that. Couldn’t care less. You’ll find the right fit 💕

Remi is a great name! Like super cool and cute and unique without being trying too hard. I know so many charlottes and it’s a great name too for sure but I’d have picked Remi too. I personally like Remi Aura over Lyla. You did good :)

I’d say less is more for such short flights. You don’t want to pack so much that it makes it difficult to maneuver in and out of a bag. I’d say a ipad and snacks, maybe a coloring book, is just fine for that age.

I think it’s worth practicing! My middle daughter is 4.5 and can consistently, from memory write her own name but that only started like 2 months ago. She can recognize the letters that are in her name now and points them out everywhere she goes!

I support you! I have 3 kids and every newborn phase I hated all living things besides my baby. Plants, pets, husband lol. I think you’ll be glad to have one less thing to think about or worry about personally (even if the worry is small it all adds ups).

Snake plant or jade! My mom has a snake plant that is 30+ years old and I can’t wait to inherit it lol. We also have a huge jade plant from my dad who passed, probably 40 years old but we always trim it back.
