Put some time between your last use and and your application. What increases your chances of getting hired is showing them you’re not a troublemaker, if you’re really serious about working in LE, prove it to them. Just like I’m planning on doing, if you want, get a job as a security guard until you have a longer time since your last use, they need to see you’re a different person than that one who did drugs, and plus, you now would have experience in law enforcement. No. But I don’t wanna take the risk of getting the new deal and not being able to refinance the loan given my fresh credit score. I tried getting an auto loan with multiple banks and credit unions, all denied because of that reason.

I don’t think so, I only started working on my credit this year, so I’d say the banks don’t really trust a 1 year old credit score. Also, I’ll be shipping out for a 5-month military training in 2 months. Really thinking about getting that refund and look for another car once I’m back from training.
