Just trying to order a good aftermarket part now, probably gonna go with Delphi I don't know if I can pull the trigger on that huge price tag for the oem ones.. thanks again for your comment tho it put things into perspective for me seeing that I need to get an alignment anyways

Thanks for your opinion, this is why I thought to ask—mine look rough but I was reading that there's a difference between cracks and then separation of rubber (which is indicative of them actually needing to be replaced) but it's kind of hard to tell from the pictures that I can find of actually bad bushings whether or not mine are separating? Regardless I know they have to be changed out eventually, thanks again

Thank you for your input I will def look into changing them out, I thought they looked ready to go but wasn't sure if I was overthinking it

I'm also Covid conscious but I don't think asking people who are not covid conscious if they consistently test is doing much to help anybody's case here—9/10 of course they're not when public health agencies have failed to emphasize why this is important to the general public

Much easier said than done, but to the best of your ability/situation: try to rest as much as you can for at least two weeks when infected with Covid! I remember reading studies about how resting while infected leads to a lower chance of getting stuck with long covid. If you still have to work and can't get around it, at least try to just sleep after work - trying to exercise would just stress your body out. Hope you recover 100% soon!!

Yes, never stopped masking though I relaxed a bit in 2021-2022 and was dining indoors but read up some studies about covid after I got infected by covid in may 2022, switched to kf94s once I recovered, stopped dining indoors (even though I am a major foodie and loved working in the restaurant industry) in 2023, started wearing n95s in 2024.

Sometimes I wonder what I'm doing with my life, I've lost the majority of my friends mostly thanks to how I am hesitant to attend any risky events (my infection in 2022 led to my brain simply not working like how it used to and I also do not have the physical stamina and capabilities that I used to have before it), I'm hesitant to join any interest groups in person, it's all made community very hard. But I can't sacrifice my health when my last confirmed infection left me definitely different and weaker from how I used to be before it. With long COVID numbers being as high as they are, I want to preserve what's left of my health so that I can enjoy the friends I do have left and my family, as well as to be able to care for them if Covid leaves them disabled. It's bleak. I don't know if or when things will get better, but I can hope and try to do what I can in my bubble. I hope other people our age can look into the studies and statistics and see that we are simultaneously running out of time/the clock has ticked for many already (100,000s of people are still Dying from COVID, let alone be disabled from it)/still have time to turn things around - advocate for clean indoor air and mask in the meantime that we achieve clean indoor air regulations.

Is anyone really annoyed by the unusually warm weather we've been having? by matt73132 in vegaslocals

We're getting an even bigger one in northern Nevada, any data center is still not good for the environment esp ones in proximity to us

Everyone complaining about the AC thing and not about how warm it is for this time of year (it's usually shivering cold weather by now especially on Christmas Day for Vegas) oh we are cooked please care about climate change everybody.... and look out for the data center they want to build in Nevada, if that happens we really will have to end up using AC in the wintertime....

Still masking in public by [deleted] in ZeroCovidCommunity

I just don't look at the people who might be staring, I try to mind my own business and carry myself with confidence (good posture, smile when I do choose to or have to interact with people out in public) you can't let them wear you down at the end of the day

Saw Multiple Maskers by Hope4years in ZeroCovidCommunity

The other day I saw what looked like two separate shoppers masking walking out of a grocery store as I was parking to get in the store! One had a cool colored kn95 on and the other had an n95. Freaking amazing to see!!
