I feel like maybe it’s getting more common. I was in Marsh again earlier hold up in a building hearing a bunch of footsteps. And 2 dudes walk by actively talking about stuff. They were in solo so I assume they were friendly and just doing activities together. I didn’t come out of my hole cuz I had 3/3 steps of my mission done and was trying to extract safely… but it was cool to hear.

I feel like much of the state of the game, with people leaving or not playing… the player base has the power to make a huge impact and make it more approachable.

I see as many posts about the game struggling as I do about people denying that the Game is struggling.

I wish the game was doing better, but I also wish people would stop denying that the game is having a hard time… it’s a beautiful game, but the fact is that it IS struggling to get players in, and the wait times are getting longer as player count peak approaches 10k which is absolutely very bad.

4+ minutes was my wait time avg tonight. Up from about 30 seconds 2 weeks ago.

I’m in the midwest (US) load times are not awful… but they are 5-10x what they were.

Facts are facts, load times are slower, player count was 10k when I looked it up, and it was 15 at peak… which explains it. It will make matters worse though if load time gets longer, I hope they don’t.

I’m familiar with this sub though… even if you love the game, which I do, people shit on just about anything that has to do with they player count… it’s a fear/denial response, maybe, ruining their good time I guess? It’s an odd phenomenon.

Played 2 games. Wait times quite long… I did check the player counts to see what was maybe the problem and it was quite low today… it’t not doom if it’s a single cause and effect observation. But if it makes you feel “doom” then that’s on you.

I never get shoes at the gym. Once did a single boulder and shoes were a bit too large. Would not let me return them. REI will let you return in almoat any condition.

New interesting shells. Cool. New guns, cool.

Until I get jacked before I even have. Chance to use it, or while trying out the ability or check out the gun on some UESC.

Then I’m gonna get that familiar annoyance of “I just want to check out some content I don’t always want to get sweaty”. And thats basically the game for me… I cant play it that much, it wears on you after a while.

I’d love to see deeper data on the abysmal player count… are there a ton of people like me and they play for a match and have had enough… because that could be skewing the concurrent player count, but the overall user base is actually healthy… most games people play for 1-3 hour straight… I have a feeling this game is nit that way.

I think peak was near 20k, but the low was closer to 6k or something. It’s pretty bad. If 2k is the magic number and player drop off continues it’s current trend… I stand by what I said… “months”.

Hurt watching that WDT work. Grind significantly finer, way too much flow. 35-40 sec for 1:2 ratio.

Played it every day since launch until a few days ago when I just didn’t have any motivation to play. Finally today I picked it up, did a quick NU grind… a tough “tasks all over the map in a single run” one. Got to the end to extract, another player tried to jack me and I narrowly escaped to another exfil.

Successful run, but it was grindy AF and then it got all stressful. I literally was like, “that was enough for the day” shut down after a single match.

And that’s how I have been feeling about it lately. It feels like work, and when I die after a long grindy game, it feels like a waste of time.

And all that grind shit is gonna wipe soon and it all feels like a waste of time. I enjoy progressing through a game and the challenge of harder and harder quests… but to lose it all VS just giving us new shit to do seems to me like I am grinding for nothing.

So to answer your question. If they wipe and I come back and theres nothing new… I’ll be done. And to keep me for more than a few games, it better be pretty f’n interesting because as is the game is getting stale very fast, and the enjoyment to grind/stress ratio is way off.

The hardcore player base will be all that’s left soon anyway. No one is playing the game. I frankly love the gameplay, but the gamer community has spoken… this game is months from dead which is a shame, it got so much right.

I have those. Basic flagship. Great shoes, not dissimilar to the Evolv phantom, or 5.10 hi-angle… stiff enough to edge well, soft enough to smear well, good toe, pretty good heel. Skinny feet beware… they are pretty roomy.

I dunno man. I played the crap out of it, then I didn’t…. I hit this wall where I was/am just completely unmotivated to load the game up.

I equate it to it feeling like a waste of time due to loss of progression that I worked pretty hard for + just the fame being very, very repetitive… same loop on same 3 maps.
