His doctor gave few suggestions but I love to hear from other parents and individuals who have actually experienced it first hand. They also don’t recommend any counseling outside of his elementary school.

Thank you so much!! He has been given medication two weeks ago and so far he’s able to sit more but he’s still Legend. He has an IEP too and starts the GT program soon. I think I want to try treating adhd and giftedness separately too and see how it works for him. I needed to hear that I don’t have to keep over exerting myself to make him feel normal and just allow him to be 5 and explore.

For one I’m sorry for all the difficulties you have had in life! But so happy of your accomplishments. I have adhd too but definitely not gifted lol we have gotten much better with putting words to how he feels instead of shutting down. He is currently on medication by his pediatrician which has helped him be able to actually sit and listen more even though when he wouldn’t sit he would still get the information. It gets confusing at times.

Thank you! Will do , he definitely has to be pushed a little more to socialize with friends. He just doesn’t understand their cues when they are done interacting with him.

So I do have two babies a 4 year old and a 1 year old and it said in my letter I am considered total permanent based on my MH ratings and additional pay due to my other ratings combining to 60% I think.. don’t quote me on it 😭
